The most dramatic moment yet of the George Zimmerman trial yet occurred during the defense's closing argument Friday morning, when attorney Mark O'Mara paused for four minutes to illustrate a long gap in the prosecution's timeline of events.

Let’s not overlook the contribution of the MSM to this circumstance.

“I’m concerned that Zimmerman will be sacrificed on the altar of political correctness regardless of the overwhelming evidence of his innocence.”

Right. “Social justice” will be the underpinning of the eventual verdict of manslaughter. By allowing manslaughter, Miss Piggy the Judge essentially telegraphed to the jury that this is the “correct” verdict. The 6 low information women on the jury who are having a group cry about the death of the poor black boy will have absolution for their lifetime “racist” thoughts.

Yep, it you know anyone living in a democrat/liberal run big city that owns/manages a shoe store (esp one that sells Air Jordan’s) and/or a store that sells flat screen TV’s, better remind remind them to head down to their nearest Home Depot, Lowes, etc to invest in some nails and 4x8 plywood as they’re gonna need it. If it were me running one of those stores, I’d be standing in the store entrance with a flamethrower.

"I expect a quick return by the jury of a verdict of not guilty on all counts...let the looting begin!"

Those jurors know what will happen to their neighborhoods, their families, and themselves if they return a not guilty verdict. I worry what their verdict will really be based upon.

I haven’t followed all of the details of the testimony - what is the significance of the 4 minutes?

This pathetic judge will just send them back until they get it "right."

If prosecutors could not explain what Trayvon Martin was doing for four minutes instead of walking home—or running, as state witness Rachel Jeantel testified—how could they claim that Zimmerman had set out to kill Martin? If he felt threatened, why didn’t he leave? And wasn’t it more likely that Martin had lain in wait for Zimmerman and started a confrontation?

"If Trayvon had survived, he'd been charged with ASSAULT & BATTERY"

I thought this one statement was the most powerful moment of the entire trial.

I am afraid that Mr. Zimmerman will have to win this case on appeal. Trial judge errors. They convict him, the the Jessie Jackson riot squad goes home. He wins on appeal three years or so from now, the riot squad will have already moved on to new adventures.

there’s a four minute gap in the prosecution time-line, when Trayvon could have simply walked the 70 or so yards home.

I believe it represents the gap in the prosecution's timeline between the moment Rachel Jeantel lost phone contact with Trayvon Martin and the moment George Zimmerman discharged his firearm.

That is the time that is unaccounted for in which Jeantel said that Martin was trying to get home (100 yds away) and when he and Zimmerman actually came face to face.
