These days it is. Remember, a person is guilty until proven innocent. Just ask Mr. Zimmerman.
I see it your way, both were asses, the White was drunk and obnoxious,but assault is still assault and this one could have resulted in death and may still result in permanent brain damage. All the Black man showed was that he was even smaller than the White Bigot who may never had said anything if alcohol hadn’t dampened his impulse control.
This country has become extremely polarized of race these last 4-1/2 years.
And I admit to being polarized by it.
I guess I just realize how much its creeping into me and others .
If indeed the black man has been arrested and is charged, he has a good deal of case law to help him with acquittal.

The killing of a human being is justifiable homicide and lawful if necessarily done while resisting an attempt to murder or commit a felony upon George Zimmerman, or to commit a felony in any dwelling house in which George Zimmerman was at the time of the killing.The killing of a human being is excusable, and therefore lawful, under any one of the following three circumstances:
1. When the killing is committed by accident and misfortune in doing any lawful act by lawful means with usual ordinary caution and without any unlawful intent, or
2. When the killing occurs by accident and misfortune in the heat of passion, upon any sudden and sufficient provocation, or
3. When the killing is committed by accident and misfortune resulting from a sudden combat, if a dangerous weapon is not used and the killing is not done in a cruel or unusual manner.
No, it isn't. But we can surmise form his (the white guy)behavior that "N******" aren't the reason he lost his job.
Many feel as you describe. They are inadvertently helping the achievement of black control of our society. I think in a sense their legs tingle whenever they hear of whites being injured by blacks.

You may not physically attack someone because he called you a poopy head or some such. If every time a black racist spouted off he got physically attacked... You don’t hang out with drunk people if you don’t want to be offended. Visit your granny where every is all peaches and cream.
I hope they catch the thug and he gets prosecuted. I would not want him attacked and harmed like that for saying “cracker’ or “wet back”, “gook” etc. In the spirit of the dummies on the board, if they don’t prosecute the thug, I hope the victim’s Uncle Guido pays the thug a visit.
People like the man with a cracked head do a lot of damage to race relations.
I know about freedom of speech. But it seems like there are some people that have a couple of drinks and they start goading others with ugly statements. Invariably somebody will make a bloody mess of the big mouth. I suspect that they want to get busted up for some reason.
Why are you invoking race into this when the real story is some guy punching out an obnoxious loud mouthed drunk?
When I was growing up, lessons from such obnoxious behavior were learned rather quickly........
