I didn’t see how they could have reached any other verdict based upon the evidence.

From how little I followed this, I am not surprised by the verdict. The prosecution started to back pedal the last couple days with their "tricks" and ask for change of charge.

Whether one likes the Florida laws or not, both sides had the same rules to defend or prosecute. In fact, the prosecution had the full weight of the government.
