I’m gonna try MSNBC for the humor factor, but they’re all carrying the pressers right now.
The government prosecution are attempting to redeem themselves on live TV....
Angela Corey was stunned and all she could do was smile and pretend all is good while looking at reporters with that condescending look...
He was not acting under law or statute. That is the qualifying element for a federal prosecution. The fact that he was a neighborhood watch guy in the community provides no standing. He was enforcing no law, nor did he have the power to arrest, detain, stop, or search. There may be, will be, civil suits against him but there will be no federal charges.
Moreover, why did he call the police, send for police assistance, give his name and location and describe the person he was supposedly about to murder? That in itself ought to have been enough to have prevented this travesty of a trial from taking place.
It's a start.
It is probably too much to hope for, but I would love to see his lawsuits NOT settled out of court. At the least I want for the settlement amounts to be made public.

I spent the day with 5 grandkids at one time (rarely happens that they are all together) and my daughter gave me a nice bottle of cognac as a way of saying 'thank you' or 'yeah, you're going to really need this' or something.

Zimmerman was not acting under color of law and so is immune from civil suit under Florida law
I don't know about you but *I'm* focused on criminal charges...Federal criminal charges...charges filed under some Federal law regarding "child abuse" or "denial of civil rights" or something else.
It's been happening in droves on the long thread .. maybe not in the same league as the 'Integrity Six', but worthy of note nonetheless !
