Appearing on MSNBC this morning, Jesse Jackson condemned the Zimmerman verdict as a "tremendous miscarriage of justice." It is a mark of Jackson's misconception of just what constitutes justice that chief among his complaints was that Trayvon Martin was denied a jury of his peers because there were no African-Americans or men on it.
But—as Jackson is apparently unaware—the Constitution provides that it is the accused, not the possible victim, who is entitled to an impartial jury [in fact the Constitution nowhere speaks of a jury of peers].

I well remember blacks in this country celebrating the acquittal of OJ Simpson, a man that clearly got away with murder. One would have thought that it was actually Independence Day. Few blacks questioned the verdict: it was simply OJ sticking it to “The Man”. Today justice is finally served with the not-guilty verdict in the Zimmerman trial, and the endless parade of race-obsessed malcontents squeal like stuck pigs.

The point is, the constitution says the accused has the right to a jury of his peers, that would be GZ not TM. Jackson is not very bright but he seems to get away with it because nobody has the nerve or integrity to point this out to him.

As it turned out, Jesse’s admonition to “stay out the bushes” has an ironic ring of truth to it. With the diminishing exception of W, the Bushes like the Klintoons or Kennedys are not our friends.
