With all due respect, Mr. Holder (which frankly is no respect at all), for the 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000th time, STAND YOUR GROUND WAS NOT A FACTOR IN THIS CASE. Jesus Christ on a step ladder - you’d think the top attorney in the nation would at least understand the basic legal principles involved here.

Anyone that assaults me or mine is likely to find violence escalated to a level that they don’t care for.
The standard recommendation is to be careful, kind, polite, and have a plan to kill anyone you meet.

Mrs du Toit was taught to shoot by the wonderful Kim du Toit, an immigrant from South Africa.
She mentioned that it was liberating for her to carry a pistol every day. Rather than fearfully dashing from one ‘safe’ zone to another, she was safe as houses all day every day.
That may be why Holder et al. are opposed to it.
