Well that ought to work. Betcha there are no more murders in Chicago this summer. It was only a matter of prohibiting the really bad guns.

“No legislation, no matter how strict, will keep weapons out of the wrong hands. We all know that,” said Chicago City Councilman Robert Fioretti, who voted for the gun ban.”
But the laws will keep the guns out of the law abiding Citizens hands, thereby unconstitutionally subverting their right of self defense.

Now that you are tightening up laws on assault weapons ..
How many killed by assault weapons ??
Or , are you just writing more laws to trap good citizens ?

And it is only going to get worse. MN Gov. Dayton came out today and said “See what happens in states where they have Stand Your Ground laws....good thing we defeated it here!” Or words to that effect..
To: lowbridge
Yeah, yeah, it’s illegal, right? But now—it’s MORE illegal! Amiright? Yafeelme?
To: lowbridge
Marvelous. Problem solved. Why didn’t anyone think of this before?
To: lowbridge
Criminals are shooting each other and citizens. Respond by smacking the law abiding citizens and saying,” That’ll show you we mean business!”

Hold Rahm’s feet to the fire though as his pants are always on fire, I’m not sure it’d make much difference.

It is the number of criminals, not the number of guns that drive crime statistics.

My prediction -— Those who can, move out. Those who can’t, see Vinnie for a sweet deal.
