Crime Man’s Defense Against Gun Charge: ‘I Did What Joe Biden Told Me to Do’

A Washington man who fired his shotgun into the air to scare away alleged car prowlers pleaded not guilty on Wednesday, citing Vice President Joe Biden’s questionable gun advice as the reason he took that specific action.
Jeffery Barton, 52, of Vancouver, Wash., is charged with one count of illegal aiming or discharging a firearm. He was arraigned in Clark County Court on Wednesday.
Can’t wait for the media to ignore this story!
“Outside the courtroom Wednesday, Barton cited the vice president in defense of his actions.
“I did what Joe Biden told me to do,” Barton told KOIN. “I went outside and fired my shotgun in the air.”
“If you want to protect yourself, get a double-barreled shot gun,” Biden said in a previous interview.
“I said ‘Jill, if there’s ever a problem, just walk out on the balcony here…put that double-barreled shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house,” the vice president added. “I promise you, whoever is coming in is not gonna– you don’t need an AR-15. It’s harder to aim, it’s harder to use and, in fact, you don’t need 30 rounds to protect yourself. Buy a shotgun. Buy a shotgun.”

When the video first appeared most viewers were laughing at the He/She interviewing uncle Joe.
Not guilty by reason of insanity, as only someone mentally impaired would take advice from Biden. Acquit then commit.

Already done. Outside The Blaze I haven't heard this story anywhere. As much as Beck can be a drama queen and a showman, he's pretty accurate and his research is better than any of the major outlets. Brietbart and The Blaze are the 2 places to get stories the rest of the media don't want to tell.

Yeah, about that... it seems like other accounts paint a very different picture in that despite having a restraining order against him, she went to his place and started a confrontation, left the scene, got the firearm, returned, and then discharged it in what she claimed was a "warning shot" but what the prosecution called "attempted murder". Clearly the jury didn't agree with her.
Interesting case.

I am so glad I live in a rural area where firing a shotgun is not a criminal offense.
