Local news yesterday showed Filner leaving the Concourse building in San Diego; he was headed to a waiting SUV. Reporters asked him questions which he arrogantly ignored. Then Filner started to run toward the SUV. That was when one reporter yelled at him asking why he was running and why he was not fulfilling his promise to have an open, transparent government. He was asked why was he running from the questions for which the people of San Diego deserve answers. It was comical. Filner came across as an arrogant coward. The local media is all over this and it is getting real ugly. But it is interesting to watch. :-)

I just heard that Filner has called a presser, we're waiting for that now. Maybe he's going to resign.

I actually heard some woman say he's innocent until proved guilty. I was screaming at the tv, "he's already admitted what he did by saying he's going to get treatment, ya maroon!"

They are going to push him out, I think. All but 2 of the city councilmen are calling for him to resign (and they are getting a lot of pressure to make it unanimous), plus the national Dems (Pelosi, Wassermen-schultz, etc) won't go near the slime much less back him up.

He is going to be forced into the realization that he's done. I just hope it's before we have to foot the bill for a recall!
