Obama Suggests Only Lawyers Understand the Constitution July 29, 2013 - 2:28 PM By Elizabeth Harrington
(CNSNews.com) --President Obama suggested in an interview with the New York Times that was published on Saturday that you need to be a lawyer to understand the U.S. Constitution.
The president made the suggestion when talking about members of Congress who have argued he does not have the constitutional authority to unilaterally suspend enforcement of parts of the Obamacare law.
The Times asked Obama if he “consulted” with his lawyer when making the decision to suspend the employer mandate, which would require businesses with more than 50 employees to buy them health insurance, and which was supposed to take effect on Jan. 1, 2014.
“[I]f you heard me on stage today, what I said was that I will seize any opportunity I can find to work with Congress to strengthen the middle class, improve their prospects, improve their security,” Obama said.
“And if Congress thinks that what I’ve done is inappropriate or wrong in some fashion, they’re free to make that case,” Obama added. “But there’s not an action that I take that you don't have some folks in Congress who say that I'm usurping my authority. Some of those folks think I usurp my authority by having the gall to win the presidency. And I don't think that's a secret.”
“But, ultimately, I’m not concerned about their opinions--very few of them, by the way, are lawyers, much less constitutional lawyers,” the president said.

Do you have to be a non-lawyer to know where your were born? ... find your long form, ... know your status as a foreign student at Occidental, ... use the right SSN, ... listen in church, ...know the guy down the block holding campaign events for you is a former terrorist, ...inquire if your Ambassador and others are making it out alive, ...stop illegal gun walking to cartels, ...care about government employees being harmed by furlough cuts, ...know when you are fostering race conflict?
Nope.
I guess the law is like most other professional crafts and even less in the highest “standard of care” category.

I'm afraid to know for sure all that might be in his head.
I had a professor a few years back who LOVED Wilson. I was taking the class to maintain my teaching certification. I let the rest of the class know of Wilson’s usurpation of freedom through the establishment of the Federal Reserve, the 16th, and the 17th Amendments. And his intense hatred of blacks.
Probably it is those old documents written in cursive that messes Obama up.

I take it this is why civics is barely taught and will not be tested in the 4th and 12th grades anymore. History is ‘history.’ And children’s books prior to 1984 are to be destroyed.
