Benghazi Leads to Iran, Not Al Qaeda

Mark Langfan .....

Why is Obama doing everything in the world to cover-up the truth in Benghazi? Why is Obama administering lie detector exams every few days to all the CIA operatives who were in Benghazi?

Is it to cover-up the fact that Obama was running guns to the Syrian rebels? Why do that? Both the then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and then-CIA Director Petraeus were openly advocating arming the Syrian rebels.

Is it such a big deal that the United States was secretly arming enemies of Iran's puppet Assad through our NATO-ally, Turkey? No it isn't.

Is the fact that some of the US weapons may have accidentally fallen into al Qaeda's hands that terrible? No. Not at all.

The reason Obama doesn't want the truth of the Benghazi-to-Syrian Rebels gun-running operation to come out is that all of a sudden the "al Qaeda attacked Benghazi" narrative doesn't make any sense. For, why on earth would al Qaeda attack a gun-running operation to the Syria rebels when the Syria rebels themselves are al Qaeda? Al Qaeda wouldn't be attacking their own al Qaeda weapons pipeline.

So, Obama's real fear is not that he ran guns to al Qaeda, but that if this were known, al Qaeda would be removed as the possible suspect in the murder of Ambassador Stevens and three Americans.

That is the real problem, because if al Qaeda is removed as a possible suspect because it was benefitting from the gun-running, who's left as a suspect? Who would want an American weapons pipeline to the Syrian rebels shut down? Once al Qaeda is removed from contention, and that question is posed, there is only one answer: the Huzbullah/Iranian axis....

Libya’s prime minister went to Benghazi a few days after the consulate attack. He wanted to investigate Obama’s claims that rioters protesting a video were responsible. He said that the attack was conducted by a Libyan group who were paid and led by “foreigners.” These foreigners could have been from Syria, Iran or even Russia.

So who benefits from the attack? That is the key to figuring this out. Who were those foreigners?

And that begs an even bigger questions. Why would Obama protect Iran from being exposed as a possible suspect? If Benghazi was a live CIA operation center, then Obama had to have known when it was being attacked that it was a live CIA operation center. Why, then, did Obama fail to take any particular interest in its immediate defense? In fact, if it was a live CIA operation, extraordinary measures should have been taken in its defense.

Maybe they were all suppose to die (CIA, SEALS, the whole bunch) and the center overrun and 'cleaned like a clock'... Obama stopped the FBI from going over there until after the place had been picked over by everyone INCLUDING CNN...

I’m having a similar discussion with CWB.. Morsi is crazy but I don’t think he is that crazy.

(1) What was in this operation that would benefit Obama? IOW, how involved was he?
Remember the guy has not been attending nor read his PDBs on economy nor natl security. (Look, not finding excuses for Obama, but he's fully engaged in his re-election bid, he could be hands-off on the daily running of the national affairs) How literate is he on AQ, Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, and other players, etc etc?

(2) They (Obama Gang) miscalculated the attack or the deaths of four Americans would be such a big deal, since media was completely in their pockets.

(3) Hilderbeast blackmailing,
she had the goods on Obama but didn't think him a serious threat to her 2012 bid. Now she's determined to have the 2016 seat.

Who were those foreigners?

Who would have the greatest motive to stop arms flow to the Syrian rebels ? Number one would be Assad. Number two would be Iran/Hezbollha. Number three would be Russia. Either way the US government is never going to admit that its bumbling and stumbling has started WWIII and has caused Civil War within the middle East region. People that always lean forward never have to answer for their past. Have a nice and safe Sunday !

Morsi is crazy but I don’t think he is that crazy.

More likely the Morsi people were extra security hired by the State Department/CIA under the radar or sent by Morsi to protect the arms pipeline. And as usual they would play all sides and request that their Muslim brethren not shoot them.

leads to the likely conclusion that Iran, and only Iran, had the motive to attack our Benghazi consulate and murder Ambassador Stevens.

Meh.

Iran's not a bad candidate, but why not RUSSIA? After all, Syria is their client since forever and the location of Russia's ONLY navy base in the Med.

The reason Russia isn't named is cuz Israel probably couldn't get the USA to attack Russia on behalf of Israel, but miiiight just prove able to get Iran.

Still, Iran is not a bad guess.

Brennan started out with the major Libyan/Turk/Syrian smuggling, but soon took to pink-misting the gents whom he didn't like out there, and their comrades had some fairly major complaints about that.

Those guys had foreign sponsorship in their attack, and it was either Russia or Iran.

Still, who in their right minds would wonder WHY Israel would prefer that America think the culprit was Iran...?

I agree with you. But I consider Russia a very, very long shot. Assad or Iran for sure.

So maybe the big secret is that we were attacked by some third rate country or countries and don't want to admit that we got caught with our pants down due to the incompetence of our President and Secretary of State.

I like it.

I appreciate the comments, but I’m not sure that holds water, using the logic in the article. And I’m not saying I totally believe the article’s logic, but it is an interesting thought.

My problem with your suggesting, is that I don’t think the Muslim Brotherhood registers as negatively as Al Qaeda does on the political Richter scale. It would be even less an affront to American sensitivities than supplying Al Qaeda would be.

I’d have to say the Iran angle carries a lot more water here, if you’re truly desperate to hide something.

Now, what I don’t get, is why you arm Iran? How does that play into Bathhouse Barry’s game plan? Does he want Iraq and Afghanistan to come unglued that bad?

Is there another angle I’m missing?

I am sure there are a lot of angles we are all missing. A lot of this is happening in the shadows, and many of the players themselves probably don’t know all the angles...

Of course, it leads to the Muslim Brotherhood, but so does Al Qaeda. The militia that attacked Benghazi was Al Qaeda related and they did it with arms that Obama had helped them obtain to overthrow Gaddafi. Those militias were not ready to give up their arms, even to send them to Syria to help the brothers. Libya is still not secure and trying to disarm those militias is a dangerous job.

And they possibly do not want people to know exactly which weapons were being smuggled to Al Qeada and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Six months ago I would have agreed with that. But the smuggling operation is pretty widely known now and the pushback on Obama for that is not big and I don't think it is going to be big. We just do this sort of covert warfare.

But the pressure to keep the big secret, whatever it is, seems to be higher than ever. So I think it is a bigger secret than just the gun smuggling.
