Some have dived head first into the whole gay scene, apparently without hesitation. Others have been tugged in over a period of time, and then some are still holding out. Even the church can't deny that many within it are having tremendous struggles with homosexuality. Growing masses of gays are parading down the streets with banners, pursuing a new found freedom to do what they want. But the real things so many seek after - friendship, acceptance, and love - elude them, remaining just outside their reach.
A man who at one time had given himself over to seeking pleasure spoke the truth when he said that Even in laughter the heart may be in pain, and the end of joy may be grief.
Remember that Whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. So speak and so act, as those who are to be judged by the law of liberty. For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown on mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment. (James 2:10, 12-13) Let's be grateful that we're under mercy, and learn to extend it to others.

Um, is this why the sexual degenerates have become so powerfully effective in destroying this civilization? ... Sorry, I am no longer tolerant of evil.
Sexual perversion is not a religious value.
Look at the article.
Perhaps if you had posted this quote:
“The Lord makes it clear that He never intended men and women to be gay, and He also makes it clear that those who practice these things cannot be at peace with Him or even at peace with themselves. He told us a long time ago Don’t fool yourselves. Those who live immoral lives, who are idol worshipers, adulterers or homosexuals - will have no share in His kingdom. (I Cor. 6:9-10 LB) And again He warns us, The penalty for homosexual acts is death to both parties. (Lev. 20:13 LB) Because of God’s heart towards us, He has given us these warnings for our own good. “
I don’t give homosexuals an excuse by calling them sick. What they do is by choice. The sick are inflicted without choice.
For those reading only the headline, the article itself answers the question. No, it is not O.K. He does a pretty good job of making the Biblical case for why it is not O.K.
Do you have something to share with the rest of us? ;)
Sin is described as being sick, or blind, or something we are slaves to. Homosexuality is a sin. The Good News is that God hasn’t left us to die in our sin. That doesn’t mean a converted homosexual won’t have to struggle with wrong desires, just as others of us struggle with the wrong desire to get angry, act out of pride, or gamble, or drink.
Keith Green was an anti-Catholic jerk. according to his wife Melody - at least this is said third hand - Keith realized he was wrong but was killed before he could change his literature. Melody quietly pulled the anti-Catholic stuff after his death.
I'm struggling with a desire to eat ice cream as my diet. Can I put the spoon down myself or are others shying away from making me put it down - what's the answer to that dilemma.
Remember the word 'choice'? It is what I choose to do that will make the difference in my life style. And no one can stop me.
It is not struggle just a DESIRE to please THEMSELVES!
Interesting comparatives, though not quite up to the level of ‘abominations’.
They won’t rest until America has gone the way of Sodom and Gomorrah.
“struggle with wrong desires”
There is no struggle in choice. I don’t use ‘sin’ as an excuse. You choose to sin, you can choose not to as well. It is not a struggle. A struggle suggests lack of capability to choose wisely. Nothing and no one is forcing sin on anyone. Homosexuals choose their sin without struggle.
I had to read thru the article to find out if Freepers sff turned fag, but the article makes the case not to turn poofter and accept God. I know, it’s a misleading idiotic headline.
Keith Green was a young believer who was saved less than 10 years before he was called home.
Why engage in ad hominem attacks on a dead man? Especially a dead man who truly was following Christ.
Pretty sad.
People do not let your children out of sight..
I merely stated that he was anti-Catholic until shortly before he died. He clearly was anti-Catholic. That is not an ad hominem attack. That is merely the facts. Sorry, if the facts bother you, but they’re still facts nonetheless.
