In some ways, I think we’re better off that Romney lost. With Romney in the White House, he’ll do what Karl Rove tells him to do. Rove would be able to raise massive funds to protect Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, and Lamar!. With the 2012 defeat, RINO contributors are wary of giving to Rove.
Yes, Romney, the choice of the “Republican” primary voters of 2012. Now those same voters will be for Jebbie because it’s “his turn next.”

What is it about these RINO LOSERS that make them think they have ANYTHING useful to say?
The DemonRATs are playing the same game they did in the 1995-1996 shutdown. It helped the DemonRATs make gains in the midterm 1998 elections and it caused Newt Gingrich to lose his speakership in 1998.
Considering that the Dems and their media lackeys picked him (Romney) as our nominee, you may be right in their selection of Jeb.
The House should simply say that we are no longer going to pass any continuing resolutions. All spending must be on budget. Then pass a budget that does not fund Obamacare.
When (if) it comes back from the Senate with funding for Obamacare, strip it out during conference or don’t take up the vote. If that happens, take a new vote for a budget but do not allow any continuing resolutions / spending.
Go to the people and SHOW THEM that they are fighting against Obamacare. Tell the people to call their Senators to stop funding Obamacare.
In short, grow a spine.
If Mutt’s against it, we know it’s gotta be the right thing to do.

The destruction this guy is doing, should be a lesson to us all, citizens that is. Sadly, I’m not seeing enough evidence of people grasping the enormity of what his actions mean for our future.

My understanding is that essential services like the military and SS and Medicare will continue even in a shutdown. Only non-essential services will be stopped.
