Liberals would fall for this, but...they are the only ones who would need to.

I see they have a life-like Cambridge cop, too...

Let’s hope that the people likely to steal bikes don’t watch Fox News. What they could do is every so often, change out the cut-outs, with a real officer thrown into the mix from time to time.

A cardboard cutout and a video camera...

Reminds me of how far you can make it as a thief with a kind word and a gun.

Somehow this reminds me of an old Rod Serling episode: An American journalist is interviewing someone in a Latin American country who looks suspiciously like Fidel Castro.

The conversation went like this:

Journalist: “Why do you think that there is so much lawlessness in your country?

Fidel: Let me ‘splain sawntheen to you. Een yor kawntadee you put up a sign dat says, “Do not espeet on dee sidewalk,” nobody espeets. Een dees kawntadee if we put up a sign dat says, “Do not espeet on the sidewalk,” Dey espeet on dee sign”!

I wonder how many people have spit on the cardboard police officer?

They've been doing this in Japan for years. Often, these cutouts are posted at a particularly troublesome intersection. Occasionally, they replace the sign with a live traffic cop.

Very funny thing about these Japanese drivers; If a cop blows his whistle, points at the car, then points at the ground, you'd better find a place to pull over within half a block or so.

He will walk over the the car and, generally, write the driver up for a ticket.

If he whistles, points at the car and the driver immediately slows down to a near stop, gives a humble bow and a praying hands signal, the cop may wave him on. Almost as effective as actually writing a ticket . . .

I wonder if the police union will demand pensions for the cardboard cops when they are retired, or will they just be thrown away with no regard on how their spouses and children will survive?

Please note that the statement above is SCARCASM.

My town uses a fake police car. It is a real car, but not functioning.

They park it different locations for a couple days then move it. Slows down the traffic every time.

After a few weeks it will no longer have any effect at all.

How about putting a security camera behind the eyes? Or RoboCop?

How about if female White joggers get one of these and take it with them when they run? Maybe that’ll keep the feral savages from attacking them.

Or the male White boys on bikes going through ghettos? That’ll scare off the feral subhumans.
