CNN: LATEST OBAMACARE DELAY 'COULD HAVE A HUGE POLITICAL IMPACT'
Breitbart ^ | Aug 15, 2013 | By Wynton Hall

Posted on 08/15/2013 12:43:05 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

On Thursday, CNN senior reporter John King said that the Obama Administration’s most recent delay of a key Obamacare provision that was supposed to limit consumers’ out-of-pocket expenses on deductibles and co-pays could prove seismic come the 2014 midterm elections.

“This one particularly though could have a huge political impact,” said CNN reporter John King. “Because as you mention, hidden in bureaucratic language, the end result is that when these changes kick in, the Administration promised for most Americans your costs would go down. Now it is saying, at least in the short term, your costs could be higher than you anticipated.”

In 2009, President Barack Obama promised voters that his Obamacare healthcare scheme would lower costs to consumers.

“We will place a limit on how much you can be charged for out-of-pocket expenses, because in the United States of America, no one should go broke because they get sick,” said Obama.

But a little-noticed ruling slipped into the Labor Department’s website said the cost caps would be delayed until 2015--a date that critics say is designed to protect vulnerable Democrats from angry voters in the 2014 midterm elections.

Analysts say the consumer cost caps on out-of-pocket expenses will necessarily mean skyrocketing healthcare costs for Americans, as high costs for sicker citizens are shifted to healthier Americans who pay less for health insurance.

CNN doesn't get it. Yes, there will be no mandatory individual limits on out of pocket expenses, which may raise the costs to some. However, the insurance companies will include that in their calculations, which should lower premium costs for most people--lower them that is if the caps were in place. Insurance premiums will still go up for most people.

The Dems aren't stupid. They are trying to hide the real costs of health insurance until after the 2014 midterms.

“Could have an effect” or

“Could have had an effect”...which is it?

They did this stuff now so CNN and their other piss bucket carriers of injustice can say it’s old news when the time is right.

” - - - This hypocrisy should infuriate the public. - - - “

That is not the problem, as the Public has been infuriated since March 23, 2010.

The problem is that The US House of Representatives have chosen to keep cry-baby Boehner on as their wimpy, afraid to offend anyone, timid, cowardly Speaker.

With no House leadership to effectively oppose Commie Obama for the last 3 years, it seems that our best recourse is to primary out the sorry Democrat and Republicans who show no interest in protecting us from Totalitarian Style Control our our personal health issues.

Yup, I said Democrat, because Democrats are also part of the 53 % of us who pay Personal Federal Income Taxes.

“We will place a limit on how much you can be charged for out-of-pocket expenses, because in the United States of America, no one should go broke because they get sick,” said Obama.

Now the healthy are going to go broke.

BTW, that administrative action is illegal, as only Congress can change the Law, once signed.

Obama is issuing one illegal, unconstitutional order after another.

Where are the instant appropriate law suits from the GOP or "leading conservatives"???

I'd settle for a suit from Larry Klayman if he was still around.

Heck, I'd even settle for a suit from Men's Warehouse.

The purpose of the US Federal Government involving itself in the US Medical Profession is to control and take the money that people will spend on their own personal medical issues.

Basically, the US Medical Profession is viewed as a cash-cow for the US Federal Welfare State, which currently is totally supported by selling US Debt Bonds to strangers, and thus generates 40 % of the annual debt of the Total US Federal Government.

Commie Obama easily manipulates the Republicans into the trap of “come up with your own plan, if you don’t like mine” public debt to Nationalize a cash-cow from the Medical Profession.

Which “Conservative” Republican has chastised the Republican Party or Obama for decimating the Medical Profession in order to support the bottomless money pit of the US Federal Welfare State?

Are the Republicans fearful of being voted out of office if they advocated switching from “repeal and replace” to “Repeal and ABOLISH!” ?

2012 voters chose NOT to “replace Obama’care’ with Romneycare, so why have the Republicans held onto the “replace” policy if not to try to keep the US Federal Welfare State in control of our lives?

Do “Conservative” Republicans show that they are just supporters of unlimited Public Debt to support the failed philosophy of the US Federal Welfare State?

Which Republican will be the first to propose that the US Federal Government’s main financial problem is due to Federal involvement in Medicare, Medicaid, and Obama’care?’

Which Republican will tell House Leadership to stop promoting Federal involvement in the US Medical Profession by trying to replace instead of abolish?

Are “Conservative” Republicans just trying to Conserve Federal involvement and control of the US Medical Profession by offering token opposition to Obama’care?’

Politician name recognition and “favorites” aside, if we are to accurately choose leaders who will lead us back onto the right track, we MUST be brutally honest about the probable effects of the ideas from these leaders.

We need to call ‘em as we see ‘em, and from what I see, Republicans are not Conservatives if they timidly and ineffectively oppose Nationization of the US Medical Profession.

What say all of you?

The Esteemed Members of the US House of Representatives can vote Boehner out in a New York Minute.

These same Esteemed Members can elect ANYONE to be Speaker. My Choice is Col. Allen West.

Direct your ire at your sorry US House Member to protect us from our own Federal Government by replacing Boehner with a proven FIGHTER.

Well, I'm happy to hear that. Larry's heart was always in the right place....and I have to credit the guy..... he had more guts in his little finger when he was at his peak than the whole GOP hierarchy has in its entirety today.
