WEST MONROE, La. (CBS Houston) A New York City hotel kicks out one of the stars of Duck Dynasty after an employee thought he was a homeless man.
Appearing along with his family on Live with Kelly and Michael Wednesday morning, Jase Robertson described the incident.
The first thing that happened to me at the hotel was I got escorted out, Robertson said, joking that it was a facial-profiling deal.
Robertson said that the hotel employee simply didnt know who he was.
I asked where the bathroom was and he said, Right this way, sir. He was very nice, Robertson explained. He walked me outside, pointed down the road and said, Good luck.
Robertson continued, So I circled back around and my wife said, What happened? and I just said I just got kicked out.
Robertson took it in stride and didnt blame the employee for the incident. Robertson continued to stay at the hotel despite the incident.
The Robertson family was in New York this week doing a media tour for Wednesday nights Season 4 premiere of Duck Dynasty on A&E. The season premiere was watched by 11.8 million viewers, making it the most-watched nonfiction series telecast in the history of cable television.
The Robertsons operate their multi-million dollar Duck Commander business from West Monroe, La.

What - you mean he didn’t get in a snit and call the employee a racist?!
Don’t you know who I am??? ??????
LOL
I smell a publicity agent working overtime here!
Now THAT’s the difference between class and ass. He handled it perfectly. Good for him.
Somebody stepped on a duck.
Cracka should sue the ho,,,,,oh wait Crackas don’t act all offended when this stuff happens to them.
Ten miles into Ohio and a State Trooper pulled us over and asked to see my Green Card. I gave him my Active Duty Military ID and said this is the only Green Card I have.
You could see the horror on his face and he fell all over himself apologizing, even offered to get his supervisor out there to apologize. We laughed and told him no sweat, we'll be telling this story for years... and here I am yet again.
What would Oprah say?
Geddy Lee of RUSH was asked in an interview if he ever used the “Don’t you know who I am?!” line.
“Um - yeah. Pretty much every day. To my wife!” (ba-da-boom)
This story reminds me of what had been told as a true story from years ago where the farmer went into town after a good season to buy a few new pickup trucks. Wearing his dirty overalls and even dirtier boots he went in but none of the young salesmen would help him. The owner happened to walk through and saw him, and asked him if he had been helped yet.
The farmer replied no.
The owner asked to be excused for a minute, went back and fired all of the salesmen, and then came back to the farmer.
The farmer said he had almost walked out, but after seeing what the owner had done, would still buy the several new trucks from his place.
Love Rodney Dangerfield!
OMG! If this had happened to The Oprah...
You don’t suppose it was the Gremlin do ya???
Best Regards

I think he should have sued them for being CLASSISTS! No class that is.
It’s your fault, if you’d had a Pacer, this never would have happened. ;)
Great story, I miss the days when men could just laugh about the little stuff.
