Whats your sense of a big TV news story? Might this qualify?:
Two teen boys lure a 12-year-old girl to their home under the guise that they want to trade bicycle parts. When the girl arrives, shes strangled to death, her body thrown in a Dumpster, her new bicycle stolen.
That would qualify, no? Even if it happened in Arkansas or Michigan, wed know about it. And if it had happened around here? Yow! Both local and national news media would be all over it, yes?
Well, it did happen around here, in October, in Gloucester County, NJ, a 90-minute ride from Manhattan. The victim was Autumn Pasquale. This month in court, 16-year-old Justin Robinson confessed to the murder while his year-older brother and accused accomplice, Dante, still faces murder charges.
Quite a story, eh?
But Ill bet you didnt even know, until now, about the murder of 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale. I watch lots of TV news, listen to lots of radio news, national and local. Not once did I see or hear anything about her murder, allegedly by two teen boys, for, good grief, her bicycle.
You see, in the medias once noble, right-headed, fair-minded quest to condemn racial inequality, that quest has become corrupted by race; it has become twisted, hideously unbalanced.
There is no question in my gut, heart and head that Autumn Pasquales murder became a make-it-go-away, non-story because she was white and her alleged killers are black.

Events like this are not crimes. They are examples of cultural differences which we, of course, must respect.
He doesn't even read the newspaper that he works for.
Of course the media reports these stories - but theres no justification for the difference in the manner & intensity of their coverage for this one compared to others they feel buttress their obvious political agenda.
It sounds like a broken record around FR, but the writer is correct and its unusual to see it in a mainstream publication.
It exists but doesn’t matter. It’s a case of justified black rage against Whitey.
No, the while story was discussed on FR right after it happened:

There appear to have been a bunch of other articles posted as well.
There were lots of other articles but I purposely selected ones from the time the murderers were identified to show that the idea that the story was not covered by major media is BS.
It appears to be true that is was covered more in the media markets surrounding New Jersey (i.e. NY and Philadelphia).
Undoubtedly it is also true that the media don't exactly play up the racial angle, but history shows that doing so might be irresponsible. The perpetrators were pictured in the news and their race might also be deduced from their names.
That is the point.
