Of course the media reports these stories - but theres no justification for the difference in the manner & intensity of their coverage for this one compared to others they feel buttress their obvious political agenda.
It sounds like a broken record around FR, but the writer is correct and its unusual to see it in a mainstream publication.
There were lots of other articles but I purposely selected ones from the time the murderers were identified to show that the idea that the story was not covered by major media is BS.
It appears to be true that is was covered more in the media markets surrounding New Jersey (i.e. NY and Philadelphia).
Undoubtedly it is also true that the media don't exactly play up the racial angle, but history shows that doing so might be irresponsible. The perpetrators were pictured in the news and their race might also be deduced from their names.
