HOBOKEN -- An endorsement popped out of the oven today, as Hoboken's celebrity baker, "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro Jr. threw his support behind Gov. Chris Christie for re-election.
Joined by the Republican governor in front of Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop on Washington Street, Valastro said this is the first time he's ever endorsed a politician.
"I've been so impressed with what he's done for the state. Before Christie took office, small businesses were suffering," said Valastro. "I can't tell you how much of an improvement I have seen since he was governor." .
Christie said if re-elected, he plans to lower taxes further for small business and limit regulations.
"These are the folks that create jobs; jobs are the heart and essence of what will get this economy going again," said Christie, who is being challenged in the November election by Democratic state Sen. Barbara Buono.

I wonder if Cake Boss has taken a stand on providing cakes for same sex marriages.
I would think Christie’s intake of pastries alone would cause a boom for this guy’s business.
Christie must eat a lot of cake!
Betcha the taxpayer pays for it, not the New Jersey Dough Boy.
Hmmm, enormous leftist endorsed by cake maker, film at eleven. If you can stomach it.
now if Queen Latifa and other chubsters would come out for Christie that would be hilarious.
At least 20 lbs.
Of course cake Boss endorses Christie.
Wow - THERE’S a manly endorsement!
I don’t give a rat’s pattootie WHO endorses Christie.
I will NOT vote for him for ANY office.
Period

I am rather impressed that anybody with a TV show is Republican. It is easier to have a Republican become conservative than a Democrat become conservative.
Stick to cakes idiot
