I wouldn’t be surprised if he did. He is running out of people to blame except himself.

I don’t think these are celebrities that Hussein would invite to the White House. The Robertsons are considered a threat to national defense according to the diversity division of the department of Defense. .

When not adjusting his newspaper crown he remains very busy pushing a healthcare system no one wants, demanding Americans tax dollars pay for abortions most of them reject, and running around the country like a hyperactive schoolboy. Obama remains indefatigable in trying to convince a nation who disapproves of almost everything he does, that progressive liberalism is the way to go.

Damned if that doesn’t just about say it all about our clown President.

I have never seen the show, but I have a question. This show and family does not seem to be the kind of people the Hollywood/PBS/New York entertainment complex would want to feature in any kind of positive way. Did the show originally start out as some sort of show to laugh at the “backwardness” of this family?

The Robinson's aren't exactly “backwoods”. The father holds multiple degrees, as well as some of the others.

Do they stubbornly stick with the Bibles and their guns? Obama already has blamed them, in his first campaign.

It's hilarious how both Clinton and Obama have been unable to keep Rush Limbaugh's name out of their mouths in public speeches - the impact that man has had on Democrats' fears is out of all proportion to his actual influence the national Republican Party, which is too busy trying to appease the editorial boards of the New York Times and the Washington Post as well as their liberal pals on the Beltway party circuit to worry about Rush Limbaugh or their base back home.
But given that Democrats have become accustomed to blindly accepting and following the talking points handed down to them by the Big Three networks, the Times and the Post, and the rest of the liberal-controlled media, it's understandable that they think conservatives form their views in the same way.
To: Vince Ferrer
That’s a question I’ve often considered myself. That given the proclivities of the lefty entertainment-media complex, the networks’ intentions might have been more in the vein of putting out another condescending hick “minstrel” show. People to be laughed “at” as opposed to “with.” Obviously, it didn’t work out that way, as the Robertson folks didn’t play into to that demeaning paradigm, and managed to strike a strong cultural chord with mid-america, through their values.

I do not think it was ever intended to show them in a redneck light. Hell, that is what they proudly proclaim themselves to be. I think the show originally was an attempt to cash in on some of the popularity of the other shows highlighting the Louisiana and Cajun lifestyles. To everyone, including A&E's amazement this bunch is really the real deal. As Jase Robertson (I think)put it, the show is really a “Guided-Reality” show. But I compare it to a swampy Bill Cosby show. A Bill Cosby show without the idiot Theo and the weekly lecture.

This family is hardly backward as you put it. They just live the way they want, where they want and put on no airs. What you see is what you get. I suppose if that’s what the mental giants in TV land wanted, it sure backfired didn’t it?

Much to Barack Obamas chagrin, the Robertson familys God-and-country values evidently appeal to the nearly 11.8 million viewers who tune in. ...The fact that a family from West Monroe, Louisiana, is gaining more and more recognition proves that besides their guns and religion, Obamas vision and values are not the same vision and values most Americans cling to.12M people is not exactly a majority of Americans.
