Conservative GOP lawmakers have taken steps to diminish the influence of the Heritage Foundation, barring the conservative think tank's employees from participating in planning meetings.
House Republican Study Committee Chairman Steve Scalise informed Heritage officials last month that they would no longer be welcome at the group's weekly gatherings, a decision that ended a decades-long working relationship, reports The National Journal.

GOP: The slightly less left-wing arm of the National Progressive Socialist Party.
It’s alright Rino’s are too big to hide.
“Conservative GOP lawmakers have taken steps to diminish the influence of the Heritage Foundation”
No, they are not “conservative” and that is the problem.
I’m not sure what they’re trying to accomplish. They’ve been calling me asking for donations, and I’ve told them on several occasions that unless they plan on turning back to their conservative roots, I don’t wish to receive any further solicitation calls.
I don’t care if Ronald Reagan rises from the dead and stands with the RNC, I won’t vote for these God-forsaken mongrel Republicans anymore.
The mask is off...........
GOP: The party of slightly smaller big government.
It’s time to take the party back or form a new one. Either way, we don’t have another 10 years to wait for some sort of reorganization. Electing fence straddlers is no longer an option.

Scalise is from Louisiana....is there a Louisiana ping list?
Mark Levin is going to be one pissed off conservative on tonight’s show.
Can’t wait to listen!
Smaller? How about "GOP: the party of slightly less rapidly growing big government".
I wonder if Karl Rove (who is far closer to Karl Marx than to KarlInOhio) is invited to the meetings.
Oh yeah, that will be radio gold.
The Tea Party provides the only foundation we can work with as a group. I’ve been trying to work within the Republican party for years; they don’t want to hear anything but workable solutions.
In other words, they are succumbing to the leftward drift of this nation.
The stronger we make the tea party, the better. There’s no other way to go, short of armed revolt.
Correct.
That first sentence contradicts itself. There is nothing conservative about GOP lawmakers.
Good. Let’s have it. The GOPe has made a horrible mistake here, and they are going to suffer for it.
If true, Levin will scorch everyone involved with this by name.
Can’t let anything get in the way of amnesty, Obamacare or nominating Jeb Bush for 2016.
Better stand and fight for your conservative values....fax letters and make phone calls daily to your elected's offices....they'll get the picture...the (Farm Bill) is a great place to start reminding those running this next year what they voted for.
