WASHINGTONThe White House is girding for more than a week of battle with Congress over President Barack Obama's plan to launch limited military strikes against the Syrian regime for its alleged use of chemical weapons last month.
To back the administration's position, Secretary of State John Kerry said Sunday that the U.S. had obtained new blood and hair samples from inside Syria that confirmed President Bashar al-Assad's regime used sarin, a powerful nerve agent, against civilians in an Aug. 21 attack on an eastern Damascus suburb.

A vast majority of everyone else can already clearly see what is painfully obvious.
Gas pipeline.
Warm water port.
“I wouldnt want him running any War,...but he is there.”
In all fairness, he’s not running a war. He’s flapping his arms trying to look relevant and boost his approval ratings with a little Rambo.
“How does the hair and blood samples prove Assad was responsible?”
Why is that even relevant? If Assad did it, does that mean we have vital national interests in Syria that we can advance with a bombing. If Assad did not do it, does that mean we don’t?
If we’re in the business of punishing bad guys for doing really bad things, we should be carpet bombing the Muslims in Sudan, destroying all cities that harbor Somali pirates, destroying China for what they have done in Tibet and forced abortions, and wiping out Saudi Arabia for their treatment of women. And that’s just the very start of the list.
Once again GL...I wonder why all the animus against Bonier and not Obama. It’s a right wing DU over here. I don’t think Bonier will give Obama the green light on Syria. Will all the Bonier haters...DU trolls ?...apologize?
The quisling war mongers like Peter King will push for them to give him support.
He needs to be a primary opponent who believes in the Constitution.
OK. I know we have our disagreements with Obama, and he has made a few mistakes too, but its not just Obama’s reputation on the line (the ‘red line in sand’)now but ours too as Americans.
He is in a sticky situation here and our country will suffer if he is made to look any more weak and pathetic than he does now. Lets put our differences aside and join together behind him on this for the children, and Gabby.
So lets all wave the flag and join Obama and McCain and Grahamnesty and stand together even if it means saving some American/Christian hating Islamists, as Obama’s reputation goes so goes America,,,DA-DA.
He talked about who in his speech a few days ago.
You almost had me there.
Yeh, it is ....getting out of hand.
Yes your right. Did you know the Taiwanese and Japanese have fished out the Somalis fishing stock? Also have been dumping toxic waste in their shores? It was piracy or death by starvation.
:)

You wonder why we keep expecting Boehner to continue doing what he always has done?
Seriously?
Yeah I’m serious. Read the Nytimes or the Washington Post. They hate Bonier and McConnel for tying up Obama’s agenda. They really hate them. Read the comments section. Then I come over here and it’s the same hate. I smell left wing trolls here.
That’s just your upper lip.
lol.
Boehner and McConnell do not tie up Obama’s agenda. I wish they would at least attempt it. They won’t.
You’re Obama’s tool.
I’m sure you’d recognize every pimple on it.
