With President Obama now seeking the assistance of perennial right-wing war hawk John McCain, war with Syria now seems inevitable. Obamas stance on this issue is the latest blunder in a presidency that now clearly resembles George W. Bushs more than that of any respectable progressive administration.
It is still almost unfathomable to me that liberals continue to lionize the massive fraud that is Barack Obama a man who rode a wave of rhetoric and hype all the way to the presidency over vastly more qualified progressives. If he does go through with this attack on Syria, then can we at least revoke his Nobel Peace Prize?

The liberal left now turn on Obama. They now see his fascism.
About time.

The Cornell Daily Sun? Its just now dawning on some of these millennials who voted for Obama, that they may just have to die for him.
Be fair, Obama won The Alfred Newman “Piece Of Work” prize.
“that they may just have to die for him” ....or country
Not very likely........the real 1% are the students and graduates of Ivy League schools since 1960.
Obama Warns Syria Not To Cross 'RED LINE'
(CNN) -- August 21, 2012
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad should heed U.S. warnings to neither use nor move chemical or biological weapons, lest he risk crossing a "red line" and provoke a U.S. military response, President Barack Obama said Monday.
"We cannot have a situation where chemical or biological weapons are falling into the hands of the wrong people," Obama told reporters at the White House. "We have been very clear to the Assad regime -- but also to other players on the ground -- that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized.
"That would change my calculus; that would change my equation."
"We have communicated in no uncertain terms with every player in the region that that's a red line for us and that there would be enormous consequences if we start seeing movement on the chemical weapons front or the use of chemical weapons."
They’d still vote for him if he were able to run again. All talk.
...presidency that now clearly resembles George W. Bushs...
Regarding Syria, there is no justification for us meddling there. None. Zippo. Nada.
“A Short Guide to the Middle East”
Iran is backing Assad. Gulf states are
against Assad! Assad is against Muslim
Brotherhood. Muslim Brotherhood and Obama
are against General Sisi [Egypt]! But Gulf states
are pro Sisi! Which means they are against Muslim
Brotherhood! Iran is pro Hamas, but Hamas
is backing Muslim Brotherhood! Obama is
backing Muslim Brotherhood, yet Hamas is
against the U.S.! Gulf states are pro United
States. But Turkey is with Gulf states
against Assad; yet Turkey is pro Muslim
Brotherhood against General Sisi. And ...
General Sisi is being backed by the Gulf
states! Welcome to the Middle East and have
a nice day.

“The military-industrial complex is salivating at the prospect of yet another war, regardless of the cost in U.S. lives and treasure.”
I have 2 active-duty children and I think I have a good idea of the military’s response to Obama’s Syria policy: from my vantage point, there is no enthusiasm for getting involved at all.

**********
Obamas failures ARE HIS OWN failures. He is incompetent and has failed to do the job required of the president of this great country. This job does not require a president to be a great golfer, a protector of homosexuality, finding a great place to vacation, spit on the constitution, or fly on AF1 constantly to be a perpetual campaigner. Nor does it require a president to read someone elses words from a teleprompter because he is not capable of speaking on his own.
History will prove that Bush was twice the president and his legacy will be proven wIth time. Obama will forever be compared to CaRter, but even Carter, anti-semite that he is, will fare better than the current illiterate that occupies our WH.
“right-wing” John McCain
snort!
Ultimate Marxist slap, comparing him to George Bush. Bush was a CIC who knew what he was doing and Iraq is better for it. How about Egypt or Libya?
Pray for America to Wake Up
You would think Zero would lament or be horrified being chosen by Juan MClaim and Linseed Graham as a good guy wanting to do the right thing..
But NO Zero sees it as victory.. the “Dark Side” is very PeeWee Hermanesque..
like a teenaged girl sitcom..
The entertainment never STOPS...
As usual you capture the whole mess in a nutshell, and we sure as hell do not need to be any part of it. Let them kill each other off.
Can I borrow that?
He is hardly a great golfer.
