The biggest Tea Party victory to date: pushing an Amnesty Bill through the Senate.

I’m glad they think we need another party to raise taxes and take freedom. :)

I think they should do it for a 6 year period. Then in the charter, vote to disband it if it does not reach certain outcomes. Or members can re instate to continue.

I’d like to see it called, The Taxpayer Party.

The last successful third party was the Republican Party. That was over 150 years ago.

So, no.

Oh yes, we do need the new Tea Party with real leaders.

I’d join in a minute, wait I already joined a couple of years ago. I’m thinking Searchlight. The Tea Party Woodstock!

So far you seem to only have a heckler from the RNCC cheerleading section.

The tea party is already a viable political party; it controls the republican party. The RINOS are on deathwatch and are being picked off one by one.

Nothing happens overnight.

It’s coming.

“What the Hell are you talking about?”

Good to see I’m not the only one.

To the original story, YES! YES! YES!

I think its time for a Conservative party.

The Tea Party has attracted many Libertarians and a Libertarian is and never will be a Conservative.

It makes more sense to me to let the GOP and the Libertarians and the Tea Party have the GOP and the Conservatives form their own party.

The biggest Tea Party victory to date: pushing an Amnesty bill through the Senate.

It’s been 2 1/2 years. And that’s all they’ve really done.

They ran on making the government smaller (it’s bigger).
They ran on cutting spending (spending is higher).
They ran on killing Obamacare (it’s only been slowed by the President himself).

The Tea Party hasn’t done a single thing other than sound and fury.

Being as the GOP-E Republican party has just accomplished suicide, I would say yes and note that the TEA party is already are fairly effective.

The Tea Party hasn’t done a single thing other than sound and fury.

You are either highly ignorant or just plain mendacious.

The Tea-Party is not in control of either legislative body or the Administration.

The GOP-E is in control of the House and the Democrats are in charge of the Senate and the White House.

The Tea-Party is still a smaller minority, we are gaining seats and we will knock off losers like Alexander, Grahm, and hopefully McCain among others, but it does take time.

Yes, the country could use a second political party.
The founders warned against factionalism, not pluralism; as it is now, we’ve got the Republicrats and Democrats: one political party with slight differences.
Conservatives have huge differences with both factions.

Not true, you’re talking about those who betray the tea party.

The demoncrats control the senate, not the tea party. Though we do have at least one notable traitor in our midst. FUMR!
