Wallace: Obama in worst possible fix
Politico ^ | September 6, 2013 | PATRICK GAVIN

“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace laid out his thoughts on President Obama’s approach to the situation in Syria in an interview for POLITICO’s “Turn The Table” series, calling it “a tremendous gamble he’s taken.”

“I think, in a sense, the president is in the worst of all possible fixes,” Wallace said. “On the one hand, the hawks, the interventionists, are saying it’s not enough, that if we’re going to go to all this effort and take these risks, that we ought to do more than just punish Assad or, as the president said, send a shot across the bow, that we ought to degrade his capabilities and change the momentum on the battlefield. They’re not satisfied with it from that point of view.”

"0bama just has to pick up the red telephone to Damascus, talk to Assad and then have the TOTUS say: “I believe my friend Assad that he did not use chem Weapons. I’m standing down.”

Throw Kerry under the bus - the Kerry who called his old buddy Assad akin to Hitler.

Very possibly.

Or he will make it a big event and go strutting and cock-a-doodle-doing for an extended time.

Agree w/ your #37, but Syriously, doesn’t President Train Wreck have advisors to keep him from making mistakes of this magnitude?

Poor thing. Maybe we can remove him from it. There’s the door, don’t let it hit you in the behind.

You may be right, but who will talk him down from the cliff?

Iran and their ally Syria have an ace in the hole:

You’re right.

He can even go in front of the American public on Tuesday and state: “we’ve reviewed the evidence and have changed our position...we are not entirely sure which side used the chemical weapons. We will stand down until we’ve been able to clearly ascetain which group is at fault.”

If he tells the TRUTH, he can get out of this mess. But he won’t tell the truth because
- he needs Congress to spend its time discussing Syria and not Obamacare defunding.
- he needs to promote militant Islam
- he needs to save face

I believe if Zippo doesn’t act the muslim brotherhood will release info on his and Hillary’s involvement with orchestrating the attack in Benghazi.

Muslim brotherhood isn’t happy about Zippo sitting back and not supporting them in Egypt.

Payback is a bitch.

I have high hopes.

Obama’s announcement to the American people next Tuesday night will reveal he is resigning from the position of _resident of the United States of America, for the good of the country, effective immediately.
