Vladimir Putin Puts John Kerry In Check On Syria
Business Insider ^ | 9 Sep 2013 | Michael Kelley

On Monday, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Syria could avoid an American attack by turning over "every single bit of his chemical weapons to the international community in the next week."

Russia immediately jumped on the offer, as Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Moscow will urge Syria to place its chemical weapons under international control in a bid to avert military intervention.

This is a deft political move on Russia's part, especially since the State Department immediately walked back Kerry's comments by saying that he "was making a rhetorical argument about the impossibility and unlikelihood of Assad turning over chemical weapons he has denied he used."

Whoo Hoo!

Hand it to the Pope and, wal-lah, the next thing you know it’s Putin in a knock out, standing over the unconscious Barry the Barbie.

Lesson to J. Kerry and B. Obama, when you want to start a war on false pretext, never allow your target to neutralize the pretext and eliminate your excuse to attack.

Kerry’s blunder and Vlad’s quick move to take advantage just shed 0bama of every last shred of non-Saudi international support. Kerry just lost all diplomatic crdibility, which he will never recover.

Smooth move, dummies

That’s right. Zero is probably fuming. Putin is dismantling his bomb-to-distract campaign.

They are already trying in some of the left media, but it isn’t selling well, since the Russians couldn’t care less what US Celebs think.

I don’t share a lot of Putin’s political philosophy but when it comes to brains Obama and Kerry are lightweights, no match for Putin, not even close!

“A whole buncha chemical weapons movin’ around.....”

Such eloquent speach from the alleged leader of the free world. Did he finish the statement with “What up wit dat?”

Looks more like Putin blinked. The United States military is still the United States military regardless of who is president.

“Moscow will urge Syria to place its chemical weapons under international control in a bid to avert military intervention.”

“...the State Department immediately walked back Kerry’s comments”

I think that answers what this is really all about. Syria gives up its chemical weapons and the State department still wants to go to war.

Zero will try to strike anyway, it was never about the CW’s. It’s about Sunni Vs. Shia civil war.

Waiting in bank line I just saw Assad being interviewed on CNN (on mute with text on screen only) and the guy actually looked more intelligent, statesman-like and “with-it” than our president

Too bad he can’t get a 20 minute rebuttal after zerO’s speech tomorrow night
