"Syria was never about WWIII or any such nonsense. It was always a diversion and my guess is it will be of the front pages by the time the debt ceiling comes around.

"Syria was a diversion guaranteed to get minds worldwide off the other scandals. It worked better that Axelrod ever dreamed.

"However, the debt ceiling is something the left can win and blame on us. They will have to front page it. They wont be able to resist."
