It amazes me that conservative Tennessee has this clown representing them as a republican. And conservative South Carolina with Lindsay Graham.

As I've said before, not a week, or even a few days, go by where I don't come across more reasons why I no longer support the GOP. These elected officials are providing aid and comfort to our enemies, or pressuring Obama to do so.

I have no doubt that the GOP has left conservatism. And, in so doing, they have left me.

The Dems and the Pubs should just merge and get it over with...conservatives need a new party. It’s time to face reality.

Weren’t they called the “democratic-republican party” once upon a time?

They are again.

My gosh...you’re right. There was such a party back around 1800 or so. A heck of a lot different than the monstrosity we have nowadays, to be sure.

I agree with your addition to this thread. I would like to add that behind it all, the spirit of the world is coming. All things begin in the spiritual realm and manifest into the physical. Since many good folks are only aware of the physical part of this _world_, they do not fully understand. The primany feature of said _spirit_ is confusion, followed closely by mixture. As you watch what is happening all around use, this help understand it clearer.

For those who have an ear to hear, what the spirit is saying...

Yes..it is the CIA arming and training the rebels. I remember reading a while back that Obama approved in the Spring, a CIA covert action to avoid international law restrictions on military efforts to overthrow another government. I think I saw this in the Washington Post. The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, headed by Feinstein gave its approval in July. So now we arm Al Qaeda.

I am writing all my reps today. Not a penny should be going to arm Al Qaeda. This is reprehensible.

It appears that Corker is an honest politician.

is bought, will stay bought.

There is no vetting process in TN. #1, we have open primaries which means Democrats can flood in and vote for the most liberal GOP nominee (as they have in 2002 with Lamar!, 2006 with Corker & 2010 with Haslam). #2, we have no runoff, meaning so long as you get 1 more vote than your opponent, no matter how low a % of the vote you get, you’re nominated. We’ve had general election nominees whom have gotten less than 20% of the vote in a primary.
