President Barack Obama said on Thursday he is shifting his focus to domestic priorities from a tense period during which he sought congressional approval to use military force against Syria for its suspected use of chemical weapons.

"Even as we have been spending a lot of time on the Syria issue and making sure that international attention is focused on the horrible tragedy that occurred there, it is still important to recognize that we've got a lot more stuff to do here in this government," the president said before a meeting with his Cabinet at the White House.

The president cited the budget, immigration, and implementation of his signature healthcare legislation as concerns he is turning to.

Well. Well. The truth is always the opposite of what Obama states. Thus, Syria will be Biden’s primary focus.

President Barack Obama said on Thursday he is shifting his focus to domestic priorities from a tense period during which he sought congressional approval to use military force against Syria for its suspected use of chemical weapons.

From this, we can readily conclude that the entire imbroglio was a farce. Most likely, everything the United States claimed, was a lie. The chem weapons were likely released by the rebels; the Assad government was not responsible; and the Administration got CAUGHT.

So -- despite the claims of humanitarian concerns and the accusations of the violation of International Law -- the Administration drops it all as soon as they get busted, then punked.

Putin told him if he bombed, his background and birthplace would be revealed to the world. That’s why you can’t have a president with a sealed background and a press that thinks it’s ok. He’s being blackmailed, in my opinion, like he blackmails his opposition here in the USA, only with him, it’s much worse.

IOW, we’re past the September 11 anniversary of Benghazi, so we don’t need the manufactured crisis of threatening intervention in Syria to keep those pesky 4 dead Americans off the front pages, now back to the wholesale destruction of the country.

Obama obsesses over being blackmailed himself, which is why he keeps his past so secret. By this, he clearly shows that he understands the blackmail game. I have no doubt that he and his thugs employ this technique at every opportunity against their political adversaries.

Rand Paul’s immigration speech

...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let’s start that conversation by acknowledging we aren’t going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

[but he’s not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
