I don’t think understanding prophesy is either arrogant or presumptuous.

That's not what I said.

Never have faithful believers experienced the wrath of God.

We have the ability to look backwards and know the difference. Past generations of those who were persecuted did not have the advantage of knowing the difference.

It’s not that they are “so special” and the rapture will include all true believers regardless of where in the world they are. The rapture is not the result of anyone being “special” but of God’s prophetic timing.

But yet the Church in America seems to think that it will be "rescued" by the Rapture. We tend to make it all about us. Christians in most other countries have never heard of the Rapture.

And it’s not “persecution” but the wrath of God against an unbelieving world. As it was in Noah’s day. The faithful were not subjected to the wrath and destruction.

Again, I ask, how do we know if these days area indeed "as it was in Noah's day?" I'm sure most of the church said the same thing about the days before Hitler and the 3rd Reich. Yet it was not the end of days.

How can we be be sure we are near the end of days now?

>>We have the ability to look backwards and know the difference.<<

I was talking about in scripture. No where in scripture does God ever subject faithful believers to His wrath.

>>Past generations of those who were persecuted did not have the advantage of knowing the difference.<<

They all had the same scripture we do.

>>But yet the Church in America seems to think that it will be "rescued" by the Rapture. <<

It’s in scripture. It won’t be just those in America. All faithful believes will be caught up. If people would just study scripture rather than listen to man.

>>Again, I ask, how do we know if these days area indeed "as it was in Noah's day?"<<

Scripture tells us what to look for.

>>I'm sure most of the church said the same thing about the days before Hitler and the 3rd Reich. Yet it was not the end of days.<<

Israel had not reformed as a nation then yet. There would have been no way for the entire world to witness the events surrounding the two witnesses. There would have been no way to control the food supply for the entire population of the world. There were many other things that were not in place until today like the right nations forming alliances etc.

>>How can we be be sure we are near the end of days now?<<

Israel as a nation once again with all the nations surrounding her in line with Biblical prophesy. Technology allows for much of what people would have never understood before. The current situation in the middle east is right out of prophesy.
