The bill does fund the military. It delays only one item, and that is ObamaCare. ObamaCare is broken, causing economic chaos, and absolutely unable to be paid for.
It is an expense beyond our ability to pay. Therefore, we shouldn’t pay it. It should be set aside for future payment, when the nation can actually afford it. (never)
So, if the Senate and the President choose NOT FUND THE GOVERNMENT which this bill does, then that is on them.
I am really getting sick of dear leader’s Sierra Bravo as he goes after the former best military force on the planet. Lost 20% of my pay due to the sequester this summer and now I get to loss my retirement for 25 years of service in uniform protecting these bastards so they could subvert everything I believe in.

Congress came to an agreement on CR. They passed a bill funding the government. Obama is the one shutting down the government. You'd never know that from his be-sprinkled shills in the media.

In the 90’s the government “shut down” for 21 days. My father was a civil service employee back then. My grandmother and several aunts were on social security.
NOTHING HAPPENED. NONE of the social security was delayed. ONE of Dad’s checks was slow. ALL back payments were made very quickly. I called Dad to ask if he needed some bridge money and he appreciated the offer but laughed.
The Corps power plants kept running, the locks kept going, the dam kept controlling flood water... NOTHING HAPPENED.
If anything happens this time it is because the pencil necked geek, queer bastard obama wants it to happen.
ObamaCare is the end game. If it gets fully implimented then conservatism is dead as a political force in our country. Pelosi was willing to let dozens of democrats in the House lose their seats to get it passed. Obama will sacrifice whatever he has to for it to get implimented.
