When people do the right thing, you thank them. That's right. I find myself writing more letters when I'm mad. My letters to my CongressCritters have been unrelentingly negative this past year. It's time for a pat on the back.

Good point. In P.J. O'Rourke’s book “Parliament of Whores” he spent some time with a senator and was allowed to view his mail. The months totals were 3000 gripes and pleas for favors and 2 thank you notes.
