A number of Sen. Ted Cruz's colleagues on Tuesday expressed frustration at the Texas Republican's tactics in the fight over ObamaCare and government funding.
As Cruz prepared to speak for hours on the Senate floor to try to delay work on the government-funding measure, many fellow GOP senators exited a conference meeting said they thought his strategy would backfire on their party.

What the heck is wrong with Cruz?
Doesn't he realize that some of his fellow republicans could be dropped from the invitation lists for some of Washington's most desireable dinners and parties if he gets the democrats upset?
He is just so inconsiderate of others!

They were talking on the news this morning that the time limit was already set. I suppose we’ll see if they’re right or not.
No thre isn't. The vote on the CR is already scheduled. Link
I'm really not. I'm just anxious to see who on the GOP side votes for cloture.
Assume for the moment that a filibuster is really in play here (and I think it isn't). Assume it is successful. Then the Government closes down due to the filibuster. Just more ammunition for the press to crucify Cruz and the GOP.
But, proceed to a vote and the Dems and the RINOs get to go on the record for voting to close the government down rather than defund Obamacare.
I still see no reason for delay. Vote now. Put the cards on the table. See what the House does in response.
Like I said I am in support of Cruz.
I like he’s brought out the GOP voice, but I really really wish we would work this to a GOP plan.
We have a lot of visibility for the first time in 5 years now.
Not that it’s going anywhere immediately, but Cruz is standing up and making a point.
I just wish we would, once this is over, sit down and make a plan of our own.
US medicine is truly a mess.
Partly on our side.
We need to represent a solution, and push our very own solution.
Not just complain.
We need to solve this. Now.
Yes it has its flaws... yes it needs “some” reform but it was still THE BEST IN THE WORLD and anything that goes against free market Capitalism is DOA with me. Tort reform and allowing insurance to cross State lines etc are great ideas. Nothing in obamacare is good... it was written for evil by evil.
You are wrong about Inhofe. Like Cruz seeming to stand alone on this issue, Inhofe was/is the same on the lie of Global Warming.
We need to quit letting the media define our divisions, and we need to quit labeling everyone who doesn’t agree with our tactics as a traitor.
solid “depublicrat senate”. Go Ted!
I don't know how Inhofe got lumped in with this crowd -- Inhofe spoke on Cruz's behalf last night and compared his hammering in the press to that taken by Inhofe on global warming.
Within Senate GOP, frustration with Cruz

Within country, frustration with Republicans
I think others have already said it but the filibuster is aimed at the vote on cloture today at noon.
Voting for cloture is voting for Obamacare.
I remember McConnell voted for cloture in 2010 for the original Obamacare bill. Had he not done so we would likely not be in this mess today. Now three years later he has a primary challenger and his poll numbers are looking down.
Of course McConnell will say he voted against Obamacare but that is only after he handed the democrats the win.
People today are smarter because the information sources are better. They’re not listening to the liberal media as much. The conservative alternative media is growing and the liberal media is contracting. Hopefully we reach the tipping point and republicans in general will wake up to the con artists in the GOP senate.
Let's see if they answer their phones today about voting for cloture.
Stopping the monstrosity is a much simpler and stronger argument than stop the monstrosity because we have this better plan we’d like to tell you about.
The GOP have actually supported free market reforms—though probably not quite as thoroughly as required—for years. And the most important free market reform right now is stopping Obamacare.

The Quislings have taken their phones off the hook because they don't give a shit what the ARMERICAN PEOPLE want. This is about them and ONLY them. They get money, free travel, housing, and Millions in insider trading information on legislation like this.
How do you people think after being in office for 6-12 years they become Multi-Millionaires?
Use Faxes, Send them Email, Twitter and hit their facebook pages with bare knuckle American truths. They have not Surrendered to the Enemy, they HAVE BECOME THE ENEMY!
Well whatever, I support Cruz on this 100%.
:D
I want to know ANYTHING the Republican Senators who oppose Cruz have done to fight Obama/Reid?
They should be challenged to name specifics.
If the response is “We are not here to fight but to work with” then as Gordon Ramsey says: “PISS OFF! Get out of here!”
