I am kinda thinking that we who want freedom, when pushed- will be a lot more motivated that the low info voter- thay have to be paid to protest, after all. No I think Patriots are the people that they really don’t want to keep pushing...

How might conservatism and constitutionalism gain or lose from this line of thinking?

I would whole-heartedly trust Ted Cruz's decision in this matter.

As Spengler notes -- Cruz has revealed himself to be a particularly adroit politician and a strong leader. Certainly, the best example of these skills in the Republican party since Ronaldus Magnus.

Conservatism and the Constitution will be well-served under Cruz's leadership.

Well then, I am sure you will love this if it is corroborated.

If the delay keeps more people from realizing this, you have never before been more right in your predictions (of what is wrong with a delay).

I hope you are right. However, there is real danger then too. Do you know why?

Huey Long staged a one man filibuster against Social Security. Being a radical, he did not think FDR’s plan went far enough. Less than one month later, back in Louisiana, he was assassinated.

Coincidence right?

Do you know what FDR’s opinion was?

‘In politics there are no coincidences.’
