She may have “hit” the barricade while attempting to turn around.

Exchanged words with a bunch of very nervous cops.

They drew their guns, a shot may have been fired, by a cop, oopps, and she rightfully freaked out and speed off.

I think this is pretty close. First round fired was probably a ND. The cops in DC are jumpy these days. Once one round goes off it's likely to become an all-hands mag dump.

I know this. You don't ever want to be around a cop who draws his firearm. The trigger finger discipline or, rather, the lack thereof, is truly frightening. And, pace lady FReepers, the women cops I've seen are the absolute worst.

Last time I went to the Capitol, I got swept by a badged thug carelessly swinging around an M-16.

Fox reported the first shot fired was by a Secret Service agent. At th 15th and Penn Ave location. That didn’t stop her ..she continued at high speeds and was shot a couple of blocks away- and died.
