This is a brilliant move...too bad some here can’t see it that way. If passed and signed this would show everyone with half a brain that the whole Democrat meme of “no negotiating or piecemeal budget appropriations” is pure BS.
If they can make a deal on Federal pay then they should be able to make a deal on anything.
Exactly and it is bipartisan. This will kill the talking heads. We’ve got a bipartisan bill, why won’t Reid and the President get behind it.
Obama has misplayed this and very badly. Now isn’t the time for his faux street fighter image, but statesmanship. That he didn’t go with the latter, but the former tells you that he’s desperate to keep and hold his base.
Obama’s a lame, lame duck.
