Apparently, according to an anonymous Park Service ranger, "We've been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It's disgusting."

Bring them back to work...........DEFUND YoBamaCare. That’s what we’ve been wanting since day one. There was no need to furlough workers or shut down parks. However, what has been done by the Yobama Marxists is classic “up yours America” Yobama. This should play well in 2014 if Republicans come to win.

RE :”And the US Senate, did it and the Pres agree t..”

Right now only the GOP house voted for this, not Senate.

Yes, I agree its a sellout to Obama and Reid to try to get them to stop being so mean to them on camera.

They’ve been being called on it for the last few days. The Rs have been arguing this point that Obama/Hagel can make the determination to put them back to work.

Good to know, thanks for the info.

4 weeks of annual paid leave. Not 8.

RE :”The low information voter only knew from the MSM that non essential personnel is “out of work”.

Hey, Rush has been embellishing the 1996 shutdown for decades now as a big win.

What he didnt tell ditto-heads is that Newt and Dole gave Clinton the CR he demanded AND it included back pay for all those who were off work and paid many of them overtime to ‘catch up’ ie more of our $$$ for nothing.

But to the listener its was a glorious victory.

This House didnt even wait till that. Giving more of our $$$ away making it a joke

Terrific news. The House voted to pay them; why not get them back to work. I totally support opening government one department at a time with an eye on the budget.

RE :”4 weeks of annual paid leave. Not 8.”

Thanks You are right, 8 weeks is too high.

This says 2 weeks, then 4 weeks then 5 weeks after 15 years with liberal carryover.

FEDERAL BENEFITS

RE :”And the US Senate, did it and the Pres agree to paying the workers but won't agree to save young cancer victims?”

Not to pick on you but that argument sounds like :”
Its OK for House GOP including Lou Gomert to give gov workers our $$$ for doing nothing because Reid and Obama agreed to it”

No, rhw HOR passed other spending measures which the Senate wouldn’t even discuss. It says it all when they’ll support federal employees but not other US citizens.

RE :”It says it all when they’ll support federal employees but not other US citizens.”

It says it all when House GOP wastes our tax money to bribe gov employees with more paid time off while crying phony tears about the deficits on FNC.

And the only way to change it is to vote them out of office. I heard that 92& of incumbents are re elected. Why expect a different result with the same asses in ofice?

And these GSs don't even have to sign up for Obamacare either

Those GS's weren't responsible for Obamacare - the one's in the White House and Congress are the one's we want on their own program.
