Outsource juries?

Just trying the cases Americans won’t try.
But seriously, Brown’s decision was the *right* one.
That’s rare.

I do have to congratulate Brown on this brief moment of sanity. He actually made a decision that was good and proper for the State of California.

To paraphrase Rush, Moonbeam just committed a “random act of governance.”
To: FlingWingFlyer
This only dealt with legal immigrants. But illegals can practice law now in CA. Go figure.

If he vetoes non-citizens on juries, what about non-citizens practicing law? What do you say, Governor Moonbeam?
To: artichokegrower
This is only because he gave them drivers licenses and law licenses. He can't have illegal aliens both arguing law and adjudicating law against citizens, can he?

The cal Latino, legislature will send the bill up every year until it is signed, just like the license bill
To: artichokegrower
I do not trust Brown as far as I can throw him. Sanctuary cities, ignore state and federal laws.Brown will shield any non citizen found on a jury.

Wieckowski said in a statement that lawful immigrants are part of the fabric of communities and should be included in such civic obligations. Gangbangers and Mass murderers are also part of the fabric of communities. The fabric isn't perfect, and it is one of the faculties of the socially adapted ordinary citizen to discriminate among them.
That is what makes us uniquely human, as opposed to a Nation of sociopaths.
