Veterans first fought America’s wars, then they fought the National Park Service over White House-ordered closures of war memorials because of the partial shutdown of the federal government.
Now they’re developing a response to President Obama’s “war” against them: A rally.
The Million Vet March on the Memorials will be held Sunday, Oct. 13, at 9 a.m. Eastern at the World War II memorial on the National Mall, the location where rangers under orders from the White House tried, unsuccessfully, to prevent vets from visiting in recent days.
The announcement said the group Special Operations Speaks is organizing the rally because the Obama administration “is using the government shutdown as an excuse to keep our veterans from acknowledging the debt owed to them and their predecessors.”

World nut daily is something others here have called the. In the past and that is why I wrote that. A d they have been nutty sometimes. That’s not an attack...its true. We should be able to make fun of our own side without us being “attacked”, right? I do see where they have improved now at least in the quality of stories.

A lot of stuff that sounded “nutty” even just a few years ago doesn’t sound nutty now, because things are crazier than that. Hm.
Oh I know...there are crazy things happening. It just tended to be a bit tabloidish I think to grab attention. Drudge is like that ...I don’t like it but it does grab people. I think WND has improved.
By the way, way back when Drudge first began, I had lunch with him and a friend who had encouraged him to start his website. He lived in an apartment building in the heart of seedy Hollywood and got inside scoops by working in the CBS commissary for years.
i’m confused. the media is spreading that this is a hoax. is it or is it how the media tries to disarm the protest.
The only problem is that the House, tasked with impeaching Obama, are also derelict in their own duties. If they understood the concept, they would have impeached him long ago.

That's what the truckers are doing.. It's nationwide...it's not just the DC loop...though they expect hundreds will go there....it's people standing and waving flags over the bypasses...and truckers working will be forming convoys as they drive....
Starts Friday throughout the week-end.....so all these rallies are happening this week-end...I suspect more will happen.
Twitter took down some of the Truckers sites trying to form this....won’t work though...there are other avenues to get the word out...which is already out.
Get the word out!!!!! Twitter and Facbook are pushing this....

Hwy Overpass protests will be held Oct 11th-13th.
They’ve been tweeting this and all over facebook for weeks now....started organizing it last month.....
Many sites on line and ALL the truckers spread the word as well...VEts and other groups are also involved as well as bikers and Tea Party groups spreading it.
FR has been talking about it for some time as well...
