Obamacare would never end then- well, not until everyone in the country was penniless.

And once the country is penniless the federal government will have to create a new program to put a chicken in every pot.

That's the whole objective

If the web site sucks, you must abort.

Typical dem.

I think they will cave, and I think that will be the excuse.

This will go down in history as a major win for conservatives. Assuming we win, and I am beginning to think we will - even against all odds.

Hmm. Where would that leave Cruz...

LOL.... I’d like to see the GOP announce that they have moved on and are no longer working on the delay, instead, they are working on the details of Obama’s IMPEACHMENT AND ARREST.

I wish Congress would introduce and pass a Freedom of Heathcare Choice Act. Simply state that no individual or business can be denied the the right to purchase or provide healthcare benefits of their choosing and clearly state that no taxes, fees, or penalties can be assessed for the execution of this choice. Plain simple language that would gut Zero care at its core. It would force the left to embrace freedom or oppose it outright.

One year is October 2014. Do they really want Obamacare sticker shock to be hitting one month before the election? If they actually have the websites working then, folks are going to know how bad things are.

Watch your back, Wolf.

But what makes you think that it will be working a year from now?

I agree. I mean, Queen Sebelius only had THREE FRICKIN' YEARS TO DESIGN, CODE, TEST AND IMPLEMENT OBAMACARE! and where's the $67 MILLION MISSING FROM THE OBAMACARE SLUSH FUND???? Were payouts made to the major networks to PIMP 0bamacare? That's not chump change and someone needs to figure out where that money went! Muslim Brotherhood to keep their mouths shut about Benghazi, maybe?

During her interview with Jon Stewart, Queen Sebelius implied that 'Single Payer' was the preferred choice but it wouldn't have passed Congress but it's in the works after 0bamacare FAILS.

Especially in light of today's revelation of emails proving senior IRS officials were Americans' personal information with hacks at the White House.

A year from now it won't work any better. I'm kind enjoying the sticker shock from the obamidiots.

I carpool with two other people. The make-up of the carpool is one arch-conservative (yours truly), one Republican (borderline RINO; at least he is still a believer in "holding his nose" and voting RINO), and one Obamabot. While car-pooling into work this week, the Republican (who is our company's controller) mentioned to the Obamabot that he would be needing to get some answers to census questions about her, her family, if anyone smoked, etc. She said "but I thought that under Obamacare pre-conditions are covered". He said "they are, but smoking is not a pre-condition. It's a risk that can be taken into account when shopping for rates".

How often do you think we will here this phrase ad nauseum from Obamabots as this POS rolls out: "but I thought that under Obamacare...."

Original cost was to be 93 million .... usual government mismanagement of taxpayer money, once they get their grubby paws on it.

Maybe they did test it, and they went live with it anyway?

I think you are right. They performed load simulations but the actual load came in at roughly 3X the design specs. But I've read developers saying that a bigger problem was the endless deluge of change orders -- where the resulting code was not tested adequately, if at all, resulting in problems like the pull-down glitch. The entire project was a continually changing morass rather than a disciplined software development project with strictly defined freeze points and a production version code change cut-off.

Some people (and Obama certainly fits the bill) think that it's better to get it out there and suffer the post-go-live consequences, than to miss the go-live in the first place. Forward recovery always seems to be better than the stigma of failing to deliver at all.

It won’t be in existence a year from now. Delay is good, and the GOP actually offered that at one point.

Bambi had a conference with various press people yesterday, obviously because his polling numbers were so bad, and I think somebody told him and Valerie Jarrett and Bill Ayers and Al Sharpton, who run the country, that they need to take a chill pill and try again later.

Obama’s heavy-handed tactics have brought this country to the verge of large-scale rebellion.

Did anybody know that the guy who immolated himself on the Mall a couple of days ago first snapped off a military salute in the direction of the Capitol?

What, you didn’t know? I thought not. His family said it was not political, and it probably wasn’t; he was somebody under stress and perhaps depressed or unstable anyway, and I think the bad treatment of veterans and the military may have been the thing that pushed him over the edge.

Self-immolation is never a private suicide. It’s a public statement, and I think this may have had an impact on public thinking, no matter how much the press has tried to cover up the military salute. I read about it only in the NY Post.

The website was supposed to cost 94 million, mind you. Where did all the money go? As if we didn’t know.
