Link only. Digital subscribers can read the story. Basically, Mexican criminals are now snatching Americans for kidnapping ransom. Important news, but now you have to pay to read it.
Americans: STAY OUT OF MEXICO.
Mexicans: STAY OUT OF AMERICA.
Yeah, but it’s better to let them congregate on the mall and pay to keep Americans away from open air national monuments than to protect the border. Looks like packin some serious heat is the order of the day along the border. Just don’t offend any of the trespassers and become a racist hater. HUH? Freakin’ bizzaro world!!!!!
There is a civil war going on there. Don't go to Mexico, especially anywhere near "la frontera" or anywhere rural in general. The government controls most major cities 500 KM south of the US border and most tourist areas with the exception of Acapulco - for now.
Best to give the whole country a miss.
The Houston Commicle, a worthless Commie rag. Their home delivery base is steadily shrinking. Their advertising clients are moving to other options.
I wonder how much longer they will be in business. In the case of the Commicle, the sooner they go out of business the better for the city of Houston.
And we have an election for Mayor in a few weeks. The Fat Lesbian Mayer is running for her last two year term (Term Limits work).
Houston residents needs to get out and vote for Eric Dick one of only two valid options this time around.
a backhoe might become very useful..
For the record mexico isnt a country..never has been a country.
Who’s their biggest advertiser? Start a boycott on them until they pull out, post and publicize it here. One-by-one, defund the media.
Just surprised it hasn’t started happening in America itself yet. Or maybe it has and just isn’t being reported—cause it’s racist y’know.
Screw the Chronicle —
It happens here.
The democrat party media won’t report it because it makes their boo boo look bad.
Besides, big Janet assured everyone that the border is safer than it has ever been.
They go to Mexican Border towns for cheap sex and drugs. Stay home where it is safe.
I think the Government or Army could largely quash the Cartels, maybe cut their power off by 75% or more but the army itself and of course, the government itself is very corrupt.
Not surprised at all. And when it is reported, we will be admonished for our intolerance to such crimes.
You better believe the Mexican Army is hip deep in this. Nothing, nothing, goes on in Mexico without the blessing and consent of the Mexican Army. They put on a show of “fighting” the cartels but they are in league with them. Not unlike some of our own authorities here in the U.S.
And, you’d have to be insane as an American to enter Mexico these days. Even the resort areas along the coast which used to be relatively safe for foreigners. The cartels surround these areas now and they’ve got no discretion.
Unfortunately these kidnappings can happen anywhere in America now because the cartels are everywhere, including small town America.
And our military is over in Afghanistan bringing democracy (our new brand), roads, bridges, schools and a new American embassy to this impoverished nation.
Meanwhile, our troops are missing arms and legs and many are just waiting around here waiting to get buried.
Defending our nation is rapidly falling out of favor with our new experimental minority government. I call it minority because it’s filled with Muslims, homosexuals, negroes and various assorted other things. Thank God they don’t outnumber us yet, but with all the cockeyed leftists who vote unknown scumbags into office they are rapidly approaching majority status.
Isn’t one of those cartels, the Zetas or something, actually founded by a group of former military and “law enforcement”?
MoJo is the far left wing press but danged if their articles on the Cartels have been decent. Mojo probably lobbies for drug legalization, that’s probably why.
Still, this article says exactly what you inferred: http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2009/07/cartels-next-door
