Al-Qaida has come roaring back in Iraq since U.S. troops left in late 2011 and now looks stronger than it has in years. The terror group has shown it is capable of carrying out mass-casualty attacks several times a month, driving the death toll in Iraq to the highest level in half a decade.

Our foray in Iraq put the Shia in the driver’s seat, but now the Sunnis through A1Q are surging back. The Shia/Sunni war is heating up again.

Perhaps we should suggest to the iraqis that they should adopt the ONES use of Barricades and CONES??
Yes,... I'm certain that would work for them....

Let us all learn a lesson from this:
Stay out of these HELLHOLES and let them kill one another in their idiotic religious wars of intolerance. Yes, it’s tragic that there are innocents caught up in this. Horrible.
But they don’t want democracy and freedom over there, and I don’t want any more of our precious sons and daughters’ lives and our tax dollars wasted on this medieval savagery.

When Western leaders finally realize that Islamic cultures do not share the values of the Enlightenment, fools errands such as nation building will stop. Until then policies and relations will continue to fail.

We fought them, and at the same time we were paying them to let us route supplies through their territory to our troops. Our people is truly insane!

If the West was expecting to collect dividends from our huge investment in Islamic democracy, we will be very disappointed.

obama armed al qaeda and they walked back into iraq without challenge. We should have bought hussein... like we did in the 80's. He was always for sale. We could have put iran in check if done correctly. iraq was about daddy Bush and revenge. I supported the War there and I was 100% behind Bush. I still support our troops who were MAGNIFICENT! I learned better with hindsight and I am much harder to fool today than I was back then.
I knew that Benghazi was a cover up for the evil of obama... I knew that Libya was a mistake and just wrong and that syria was a debacle. Most of us did which means we all learned that the republican party and dim party leadership are conniving entities representing themselves and those that finance them... and that they do not represent "we the people".

Aw, bummer.
What kind of ammo do they need to turn Iraq into the same kind of Islamofascist civil war hell-hole as Syria is?
Thanks nuconvert.

When Western citizens finally realize that Western leaders do not share the values of the Enlightenment, maybe these fools will stop electing them. Until then policies and relations will continue to fail.
