Drag the jurors to the scene and give them the bloody first-hand experience. I see points on both sides. Lawsuits could take years, so don’t delay reconstruction. The lawyers just need to be sure they walk the area and have all the evidence they need, NOW!

Photos don't necessarily cut it, esp. with regard to physical evidence of the scene. There are questions of perspective, distance, etc. that only a visit to the scene by counsel or an investigator with a particular claim in mind could document. An attorney who has not yet been retained (because the statute hasn't run) would have grounds of complaint if the original physical evidence has been destroyed.

I think any claim here is going to rely heavily on deficiencies in the physical plant and security - not just any "crime scene."

Still waiting for your answer to where are the kids who you think weren’t killed, but have not been seen in close to a year since the, uh, non-shooting that did not happen at Newtown?

Oh, and video of you shortly after your child was murdered would be really helpful as well, so we can all know what grief should look like, because, as we all know, everyone reacts to grief in exactly the same way.

You know what, come to think of it, you have inspired me. The Aurora shooter, James Holmes, clearly not guilty of anything. He just didn’t look like a guy that shot up a movie theatre. He looked like he was just made up for the movie, you know, like the kids back in the day used to do for Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Most people are satisfied with the medical examiner’s statement, because that is about all we get when there isn’t a trial. The only people who aren’t satisfied with it are the ones who assume something funny is going on and the M.E. must be in on it. Those people wouldn’t accept any proof no matter what was offered, so nobody cares about trying to satisfy them.
