Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Thursday denied slipping an earmark into the budget deal Congress passed one day earlier.
“There was no earmark,” McConnell told WVLK radio in Lexington, Ky., Thursday morning.
The Army Corps of Engineers asked for the funding, he said, and so did the White House.

“A driver was stuck in a traffic jam on the highway outside Washington, DC. Nothing was moving. Suddenly, a man knocks on the window.
The driver rolls down the window and asks, “What’s going on?”
“Terrorists have kidnapped the entire US Congress, and they’re asking for a $100 million dollar ransom. Otherwise, they are going to douse them all in gasoline and set them on fire. We are going from car to car, collecting donations.”
“How much is everyone giving, on an average?” the driver asks.
The man replies, “Roughly a gallon.”

Why do they have to put all this crap into the works anyway? If you are going to balance the budget or blow the budget, merely write up a bill or law that addresses the budget. It should be one page ~ max!

Ole Mitch thought he was gonna be a savior last night.
This morning he wakes up, Harry snuck out in the middle of the night, place is trashed and Mitch has broke out with a Severe case of Herpies.
Now he is out in from of the Cameras telling everyone the boils are razor Burns.
Meanwhile over that the White House they are showing a power point Presentation of the Photos Harry took on his “date” with Mitch with his cell phone.
He’s lying. Of course HE didn’t “slip it in”. He isn’t in the majority, Dianne Feinstein threw it in on his behalf.

I don’t like the Turtle but I wouldn’t put it past POTUS to slide that ear mark in knowing the Trutle would take the heat especially for the next go around in Jan and Feb.
