“Nobody’s madder than me about the website not working as well as it should, which means it’s going to get fixed,”

Call William Shatner at Priceline, the government doesn’t need all that overhead unless the law is about something more than prices.

“which means it’s going to get fixed,”

And just what is the scope of that?

That’s a good point. Because everyone is paying the same, no matter the health of the applicant, all of the health questions should not be asked...like how many sexual partners.

When an insurance company asks questions about lifestyle, it is so you can get a better premium.

Insurance is based on RISK MANAGEMENT. Risk management tells the insurer what the likelihood is of you cashing in on the policy.
For example, if you are a non-smoker, you are less likely to get emphysema. If you bunji jump, you are more likely to suffer a head injury. If you use drugs, you will more likely need rehab. Ifyou own a gun, you may need to be treated for a gunshot wound...from a psycho wife.

When you tell an insurance person that it is none of their business, they have to assume you do the more detrimental actio , not because you are bad, but tomake sure they donot take risks...thus risk management.

But, if everyone pays the same, none of those answers matter for the cost of the premium. Answering any of that stuff is justthe government butting their noses in where it is none of their business.
