Politics Chicago-style– Democratic operative and FOX News contributor Bob Beckel told Bill Hemmer today that he got a call from the White House after he suggested implementation for Obamacare should be delayed 6 months.

It’s on a pot here at FR, but in his Talking Points he accused Obama and supporters of seeking to introduce socialism AND communism to the US. He used the word communism.
The Obamacare situation brought to mind two people I haven't thought about in years - Dan Quayle and Murphy Brown.
Dan Quayle, Bush Sr.'s VPOTUS, railed against fictional TV character Murphy Brown's role of single, unwed mother and professional woman who has it all together and doesn't need a man. The press savaged him mercilessly for years afterward on that issue. I think it was a big reason why he decided to retire from politics.
It was years before any writer admitted that Quayle was right - that single motherhood was bad for mother, child, and society, that it doomed the vast majority to lives of poverty and disfunction.
There are people now who wish Cruz would have won the battle in the Senate and Obamacare was dead and gone. OTOH there will be hardcore Dems who will never admit Cruz was RIGHT. Wonder if it'll take years this time, too?

The apprehension I feel is literally a clash: one side is going to win, soon. I think it’s going to be us, but I think the other side is not going down without some major destruction.
God be with us. He loves us, and probably hates having to witness his children forced to create order out of chaos that we did not participate in creating. Praying the de-coup will be a positive action, which it should be: zero has pushed every evil envelope ever imagined upon us.
