So it boils down to who are you going to believe? Them or your lying eyes? LOL

Your little videos don't show anything hitting the sun because the sun is blotted out to a distance of a couple million miles to make the corona visible. comets are completely vaporized long before they ever reach the surface of the sun. Even something as large as the earth would likely be completely vaporized long before reaching the surface of the sun. For reasons not completely understood the corona of the sun is far hotter than the surface of the sun. Solar surface temperatures reach 10,000 degrees or so while coronal temps reach millions of degrees.

Interesting, but no takers in this quarter!

Thanks, SC!

For your amusement, the roots of the word DISASTER.

DIS — Bad, as in disgust, distaste, distemper

ASTER — Star

So DISASTER = BAD STAR, or a good word to describe a comet.

There’s a reason why the ancients saw comets as portents of big and usually bad events to come.

And catastrophe

For a meteor show yes, however what I am speaking to is they speculate the debris will have fragments not even the size of an atom.

This is akin to aerosol....in huge quantities.

Think of it as a few major event volcanoes erupting at the same time and what that debris injection would cause.

Not only that, there are no quakers in this tarter.

I'm not saying they hit the sun. In fact I see evidence of rapid vaporization occurring with some just prior to disappearing behind the disk blocking the sun from the satellite images. It is obvious from the many recordings that through some as yet known mechanism, they can cause CMEs to occur. I agree it doesn't seem possible, but there is the evidence to the contrary. It's like earthquakes peaking on earth during periods of low sunspot numbers on the sun. It doesn't compute, yet the evidence is in the data.

Maybe there is still much we have left to learn about how the universe works?!

I see what your saying, but aerosols (atom size and smaller) would be dispersed to insignificance and soon blown past our orbit. They would be more akin to CMEs which consist of much more mass than ISON has. Now a large dust cloud (with micron and larger sized particles) that earth had to traverse for hours or days could be a different matter.

Actually ISON’s demise would not be because of the Sun’s temp but it’s mass exerting pressure on ISON.

nope not this time...solar winds actually double dose our atmosphere at both poles.

The speculation is as well that as this debris free floats it will cause a light show not unlike that of an Aurora that we were speaking of last night.

While this is still speculation since we won't know till mid-november if it will have an outbound path.

I must say though I do not subscribe to the tin foil associated with this comet there is some really cool aspects not realized before in science associated with this particular style of heavenly body....lol

Well sure. But I like both the Comet (on topic) and the Falcon (off topic). I had a 64 Candy Apply Red Falcon Sprint 2 door hardtop with a 66 Mustang 289 CI 4 barrel Holley carb tuned exhaust that was tweaked.

And what if the Sun crushes Ison into rubble like Comet Shoemaker-Levy's plunge into Jupiter in July 1994, and throws it into a closer departure course toward Earthy?
What are the probabilities of that happening?

WHAT is the preceding "Tail" made of?

Mostly water ice crystals blown away from the comet's coma by solar radiation and wind. Any chunks picked up from the asteroid belt would follow the comet around the sun.

Nibiru is real...it’s on the internet.

Outside of this, are you suggesting to be real and accurate it must be on TV or the newspaper?

Isn't that a debris trail, and capable of producing "Shooting Stars" when it penetrates our atmosphere?

Nope.

If ISON was to lose identity it’s components would like be then drawn towards the Sun quite rapidly and that would be that.

Now what everyone anticipates though is that the central area (as it is not a solid piece of anything in particular) starts to be influenced the tail/Debris should expand significantly. That is why at one time it was or perhaps still is being called the comet of the century due to the fact it is though the comet after exit will be able to be seen without aid in the night time sky.

My guess is that is survives with at least have it’s original mass as it’s inbound trajectory and latest pictures suggest it is indeed quite healthy.

Now as for doomsday speculation...the weather angle should still perk your interest for not only is it plausible but indeed elements of that scenario will likely happen.

To what degree and how our earth’s atmosphere responds will just have to be monitored.

ISON doesn't have anywhere near the mass for that.

Not to mention that it is going really fast. Now the real danger in regard to the asteroid belt is a comet hitting (long odds) a big asteroid and sending it's debris on an earth intersecting path.

I’m not going to comment on the veracity of the original post.

HOWEVER, *IF* the ptb’s found that we were going to be hit by some comet or asteroid in a ‘Lucifer’s Hammer’ scenario I have no doubt they’d suck us dry in taxes to acquire the funds to save THEIR sorry a@@es and leave us to burn up.

No doubt in my mind at all.

So, where has all the money gone. We’re 7 or 8 TRILLION dollars MORE in debt than we were 6 years ago. Where did all that money go? And for what?
