I don't agree. My wife had to send a copy of her naturalization certificate in for the application to proceed. If they did not receive it within 10 days the case would have been closed. Legal immigrants with proof of five years residency can get coverage also.
What I said will pan out. Just give it time and enough sleaze and enough mods via Obama presidential directive. Meanwhile illegal aliens will flood our hospitals for free care whether 0-Kare exists or does not exist.
You might live in an honest area of America. Go to LA or NYC and signing up for 0kare will be easy for illegal aliens. They will not experience what your wife did. Or forged documents will be accepted. The possibilities are limitless once the “knowledge” of how to game this particular Federal welfare system becomes known and is proliferated. For the poor 0Kare is just another welfare system to game and exploit. I am not saying this is the case for your wife and family
