Carlos, on the bright side you get maternity coverage. That eeeeevil bare-bones plan you had before didn't cover that.

You probably also get a free colonoscopy. Well, maybe that’s what you’re really getting from the liberal/marxists.

Aren’t students still covered on their parents’ plans?

Many students have found themselves in health care limbo this semester. Community colleges in New Jersey used to offer cheap health insurance for hundreds of dollars a year but they had to drop the practice because Federal Law prohibits the sale of bare bones policies.

Who'd you vote for, kids?

Might be a variation of "If you like your plan, you can keep it."

Are these “college” students older than 26 years of age? I thought they were covered by their parents’ insurance until then. No?

If their parents have health insurance from an employer, then the employer is forced to carry the children until 26. If not, these kids are screwed.

I will LOVE to see the looks of shock on these dumb ass liberal socialist demoCRAP students, when all of a sudden they realize they are losing their inexpensive college health plans, and will need to sign onto the Exchange debacle, and will need to pay $500 monthly premiums AND their deductibles of $5000 to $7500 before their 0dumb0 insurance even kicks in. The more liberal the university, the more I will love hearing & watching these gullible useful idiots bitch & moan. Unfortunately they will blame Bush or the Repubs or the insurance companies, instead of 0dumb0 & the socialist polices of the demoCRAPS.

Bottom pic looks like the opening scene from the movie, “The Wall.”
“So ya, thought ya, might like to go to the show. To feel the warm thrill of confusion, that space cadet glow. Tell me, is something eluding you, sunshine? Is this not what you expected to see?”

You are assuming that their parents actually have jobs.

Those college students COULD get a job. Health care usually comes with a JOB.

So many of us had to work while going to school. It's a good thing; teaches character. It was GREAT to have my own money besides.

OF COURSE they are. This is typical whine talk from spoiled kids.

“I got no answer so I left it for another day and the other day never came and I went to the dentist yesterday and I have to pay $2,000 out-of-pocket,” she said.

You would have paid that anyway I think.

You don’t HAVE to cover your kids until 26, but the insurance company must OFFER that coverage.

I’m sorry, but that young lady’s biceps are pathetic! I’m 49-years-old and you can see more arm definition through a long-sleeve sweater on me than you can on this girl. These kids are soft and mushy, in bodies and brains!

I’ve been on my own since I was 19...I know the coverage to 26 has come in handy for some with health issues, but by that age, I would have been ashamed to still be tethered to my parents that way.

What did Obama say? “Elections have consequences.” Sometimes they’re the kind that everyone warned you about.
