Yesterday, President Barack Obama claimed that when he promised Americans that they if they liked their health care plan they could keep it, he also stated "if it hasn't changed since the law passed." The stunning video below amounts to a Groucho Marx "Who are you going to believe -- me or your lying eyes?" moment.
The fact that video exists of at least 23 instances in which the president added no such limitation clause, and in some of which he added the emphatic "Period" after claiming you can keep your health plan seems to not register with him. See, for example, this:

Thinking about it, perhaps Obama will use the insanity plea to get out of criminal hearings.
With all the evidence in hand over the past 5 years, he has a good chance of winning that one.
“Let me be clear - no matter how we reform healthcare, we will keep this promise to the American people...”
“Let me be clear again - You see the shade of my arm? Yeah, that’s right. That means I can say or do whatever I want to without consequences.”
Even IF he added that codicil - and of course he didn’t - what he’s not saying NOW is that the reason for the ‘changes’ are the mandates HE SIGNED INTO LAW.
I’m coming around to the thinking of others here - this has gotten beyond mere politics: he’s pathalogical.
LOL
Those mandates changed every policy on record.
It just hasn’t hit the rest of us yet.
He was speaking Black Speech.
It’s sort of Orcish. Or Austrian.
Latest estimate is that 129 million Americans will lose their current healthcare plan as a result of Obamacare (and Sebelius’ regulations).
It’s the regulations that kill you—not the law.
This thing is so open ended they can do practically anything.
The real question is: “What else have you lied to us about?”
Or better yet: “What have you told us that WASN’T a lie?”
I almost threw something at my TV last night when Ted O’Baxter would not say that Obama lied to us, that it was merely political spin to get the law passed. I, for one, have NEVER accepted that it is OK for a politician to lie about ANYTHING. That is why I “prefer” not to vote for an adulterer; anyone that lies to, and effectively steals from, their spouse will lie to the public in a nanosecond. Admittedly, I have been forced to this rule for voting too many times: “if I have a choice between a liberal scumbag and a conservative scumbag, I will vote for the conservative scumbag every time.”
The uber hypocritical federal government, ostensibly, is about full disclosure to the consumer public. That is why, purportedly, Obama, and his commie suck buddies gave us Dodd-Frank and the Consumer Finance Protection Board. That is why, when you sign a mortgage these days, you sign a stack of paper 2 inches thick - the stack is filled with federal government mandated disclosures to make sure the customer understands (the understanding part is worse now than before and it significantly raises costs to the consumer). So, on the one hand, they crucify banks and businesses for an inadvertent missing jot, but Obama, Senators, Representatives and bureaucrats can openly commit bait & switch fraud against the American people, but that is OK, even though untold millions lose big in a variety of ways. NO . . . ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!!! This is not shady political behavior . . . it is clearly criminal behavior.
My employer has made and absorbed some of those mandates; nonetheless, I’ve already had deductible, co-pay, and premium changes each of the past 3 years... this year was particularly bad... and I’m aware there’s more still coming.
Have you noticed how so many people in the news media and politics dance around using the word lie when discussing this issue. Well I think it’s time to start using it and see what kind of reaction it causes. Not just once but over and over again so people have to react to it and the word becomes the issue. Sort of like having a boil come to a head and it has to be lanced and the pus comes out.
He needs to prove he didn’t say it or admit that he did.
